"Before he ever lifted his mighty hammer, there was the sword. Fantastic journeys beckon from the mysterious nine realms. Places of dark mists and fiery voids. Of winged creatures and giants in the ice. And the most alluring quest of all – the search for the legendary Lost Sword of Surtur. Hungry for adventure, Thor secretly embarks on the journey of a lifetime, joined by his loyal brother Loki, whose budding sorcery equips him with just enough magic to conjure up trouble, along with the Warriors Three – a band of boastful travelers reluctant to set sail on any adventure that might actually be dangerous. But what starts out as a harmless treasure hunt quickly turns deadly, and Thor must now prove himself worthy of the destiny he covets by saving Asgard itself."

Does not look like Marvel's best animation but it still looks worthy of a looking at so when it comes out on Blu-ray and DVD release May 17, I will be buying it.

Marvel really sucks when it comes to the animation department.. I mean seriously, who the hell cares about Thor's days as a kid?! The Next Avengers movie was lame.. but this might be Marvel's new low point when it comes to animation.

im a marvel fan, but I can't be biased. This is a piece of shit. I may disagree with Grif about The Man of Steel and TDKR, but I have to agree with him on this one. Marvel should stick to live action, because their animation is sub par

I think hulk vs is a LOT better than most of DC animated movies, obviously not the batman animated movies (except gothem knights which was absolutely rubbish).

It looks okay. Looks no where near as good as DC's animated stuff though. Maybe someday Marvel will put out some good animated movies, aside from Hulk vs Wolverine.

I really really can't stand it when they include kids in cartoons. Fine do it in kiddie cartoons but leave the normal ones out of it.

Try reading the stories from the comics before you judge.

This is to give a sense oh history to you "kids" about Thor

These stories ran in the 60's and showed how Thor became worthy of his hammer. After each quest he could lift it a little bit further.

The Iron Man animated movie i couldn't watch... i almost threw up. Haven't seen Dr. Strange, heard good things. Ultimate Avengers was a good movie but terrible adaptation. Ultimate Avengers 2 was one of the worst things I've ever seen. Next Avengers kicked ass. and this.... this looks... eh.... I'm kind of interested... but i have my doubts.
