@soberchimera61 : Not so much affirmative action, but mere demographic marketing, and perhaps a liberal Hollywood's guilt at an even justifying an all-white outing. I don't blame them. I don't think it is askew. And, using the Marvel canon Universe I could explain why, if anyone cared, it could be made sense of. It's a much easier task than making D.C. Amazons multi-cultural...they were once human. Asgardians were never.

I really wish someone would allow me to put this argument to bed, logically, once and for all. It would have been easier the other way, but since MarvelStudio entered into this w/o the intelligence to explain, out of love for the character, I should could offer a reasonable explanation from an anthropologist's point of view.
