I have read all TINTIN books and still re-read it sometimes, they are all great and this one appears to keep the loyalty to the book high, so I can't wait.

Curmudgeon - 9/17/2011, 7:28 PM
You can add me to the list of people excited to see this.

But I'm SO annoyed that most of Europe gets it in a month, while we have to wait until December in the US.

Tin Tin is HUGE in Europe, from what I understand.

I hope fans of the comic are happy with it. Personally, I'll be giving this a pass.
Alaba - 9/17/2011, 11:58 PM
It's Spielberg...i'm sure like us he has a connection to the Tintin books so he'll deliver. I am soooo stoked for this cause he's the character that defined adventure movies like Indiana Jones, The mummy, and even Lara Croft.
Alaba - 9/18/2011, 2:25 AM
Well I guess there'd be something in it for everyone. I enjoyed the books as a kid and still enjoy as an adult, so im sure there'd be something in it for everyone, like the Indy movies
LEEE777 - 9/18/2011, 4:59 AM
Nice,CG probably work best for this, not a fan but I'll watch it at some point.
DarrkEvil - 9/18/2011, 7:42 AM
Tintin is also populer in south asian countries, such as India and Bangladesh !
marvel72 - 9/18/2011, 7:52 AM

jimoakley666 - 9/18/2011, 1:59 PM
Can't wait to see this film!
thisheart - 9/18/2011, 2:32 PM
ncreb, for once we have something in common. Been waiting for this film for about 20 years. And as much as I hate the idea of mo-cap, this looks really good. Plus, pure CGI can still tell great stories. You may remember this from such events as every movie Pixar has ever made.

And if you read the books, they are pure Indiana Jones meets detective story, and it's written by 3 of the most acclaimed writers and directed by 2 of the most acclaimed directors of the last few decades. Just sayin'.
Boekelaar - 9/18/2011, 8:42 PM
Can't wait to see it, it's gonna be awesome! :D
