Steven Spielberg Confirms TINTIN Sequel Will Be Two Books; Says He Wont Direct JURASSIC PARK 4
Steven Spielberg is doing his press rounds for his new movie War Horse where he talked about the sequel to The Adventures of Tintin and says he wont be directing Jurassic Park 4.

Collider has posted an interview with director Steven Spielberg where he touched on numerous topics. Most interesting of the topics was that he confirmed that the sequel To The Adventure of Tintin The Secret of The Unicorn will be two of Herge's stories instead of one. He also reitterated what Peter Jackson said by saying that Jackson will start working on it this year after he finished the hobbit.
“I’m not going to say which stories have been chosen for Peter Jackson’s sequel because Peter and I agreed that we weren’t going to let that information out yet. The script is now being written. It’s more than one book, but it’s not three books, so that means it’s two books. It’s two and a half books that we’re combining with The Secret of the Unicorn. And Peter will start working on the film this year. When he’s done shooting The Hobbit, he’ll begin his performance capture work with the actors later in 2012, which I’m very excited about. And of course, I’m hoping I’ll be able to direct the third one. I’d love to do the third one because I had so much fun on the first one.”
He was also asked about the status of the long awaited Jurassic Park 4. Spielberg took the silent approach about the film not saying anything about the script or when we might see it. But he did offer up some big news by revealing that he will not be directing the film.
“I don’t want to talk about Jurassic Park 4 yet – it’s too early – but I can tell you that I’m not directing it. I’m producing it though.”
The Adventures of Tintin has already grossed over $332,000,000 and looks to take more so a sequel was inevitable, but do you think two stories for one movie will work?
