UPDATE: THE AVENGERS Individual Empire Magazine Covers

We have seen the cover of Captain America, Iron Man, Black Widow, and Thor together now check out their individual covers for Empire Magazine showcasing Marvel's The Avengers. Update: With info on Iron Man's suit.

Marvel Studios presents in association with Paramount Pictures "Marvel's The Avengers"--the Super Hero team up of a lifetime, featuring iconic Marvel Super Heroes Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye and Black Widow. When an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security, Nick Fury, Director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster. Spanning the globe, a daring recruitment effort begins.










UPDATE:A lot of you have been questioning Iron Man's suit from why he is not shown with his triangle Arc Reactor. Empire has taken to twitter to answer the question.



The Avengers stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Tom Hiddleston, Stellan Skarsgård , Samuel L. Jackson, and will be released on May 4, 2012.

Hmmmm...seems like the Hulk isn't ready to be officially unveiled yet. I'm hoping the movie will have a convergence of villains, too.

Either BW is gonna get plenty of screen time and is a major player in this movie, or like Halle Berry in the X-men movies, told the powers at be that she better have more to do or she isn't gonna be part of it.

She's been on everything - not that I'm complaining, she's hot but Hulk is way more awesome

Iron Man wearing several suits in the film? Sweet.
The covers look cool (though I would've preferred new shots for Thor and Iron Man), Cap's is my favorite.

his helmet is just 2 damn big i dont know why they felt the need to make it a silver festival helmet

his suit looks mishmashed also i wish they made him look more like the thor from marvel vs capcom 3

Still excited, but I can't get that silly rock song from the trailer out of my head when I see this stuff - u know, the lines @ the end of the trailer that sound like they could be part of the intro to the cartoon, "we are together now, we stand together now" or whatever. Stuff for the tweener crowd.

It is very smart marketing to have ScarJo on a cover. Bummer they don't have Hulk as well, but I get why they are using Black Widow. Good thing it isn't Norton as Banner. He would be throwing a tizzy for not being part of the cover. :-P

Casting for the Marvel movies has been so great. So many times the actors chosen for our well-loved heroes and villains are so perfect. Cannot WAIT for Avengers, and so glad that we are finally starting the 2012 slate of comic book movies! Been looking forward to Ghost Rider, John Carter, Avengers, Batman, Spider-Man, and Hobbit for a very long time.

I just wonder if there is going to be an epic year for our types of movies again, because this year is absolutely jam-packed with movies that will drag my ass into the theaters, starting today with "Red Tails".

i really think the advertising is focusing too much on Johannsen. if this were a sequel then fine, i would have no problem with it, but for the initial outing of the AVENGERS, focus on the characters that have been built up to be the focus of the story.

i like Widow(although dislike the casting choice for her) i like Hawkeye, but i really think they need to be background characters with a little bit of buildup so they can be more prominent in the sequel.

Hulkbuster Mark VII

I can't help but feel concerned - do we really need to take up precious screen time with Stark making new suits? We've been through it six times already in just 2 solo Iron Man movies. If we see a Mark VIII in Iron Man 3 I'll flip.

scarjo is getting a lot of attention in the advertising because she is the only woman on the team. plain and simple. i doubt she will have as much screen time as lead on
