I remember hearing about when Harry Potter did that before Part 2, and I hoped they'd do the same for The Avengers . . . and now they are :)

This would be a lot of fun leading into the Avengers.

It sounds cool, but I think I'd get restless watching them all back to back like that. I usually do my marathons as a 1 a day leading up to the release of the newest. 3 in a day would probably be my max, and considering what my schedule for the day would be, 2 is more likely. Cool that they're offering this though. It would be nice to see some of those in theaters again. I remember how cool I thought the sound effects for the sonic weapons used in The Incredible Hulk were with the theater sound system.

Don't feel left out @billnye69 seems there is no love for Canada Lite (AKA Michigan) either. I'm hoping Chicago gets it, I'll make the drive down for that.

I think I'll just do my own marathon at home before watching Avengers... but fine idea for those that might not have seen those films on the big screen..

Check out my blog http://capmocomics.blogspot.com/!!! Superhero comics are the topic, and though mostly Marvel, any kind of comics can feature. Take a look, comment, criticize, applaud, whatever comes to mind when reading it!!!

As an extremely large and iconic American city, I'm shocked Chicago is not listed here.

What's with that? Looks like I'll have to do the DVD run.

Good news, for those of you who live in Michigan Celebration Cinema is also planning on the all day marathon though at the moment it isn't known if they will have the 3D glasses available due to the fact that they rely on "Master Image" for their glasses rather than the "RealD" Company. At least this is what I was just informed by their corporate office.

Dammit, 3 AMC theatres within 20 minutes from me and not one of them on the list. Toronto has been ignored and this being one of the top 5 movie markets in North America.

I got all of them on bluray but not The Incredible Hulk. I would watch that one. $40 bucks its a great for all 6 movies. The Avengers alone will cost $11 in normal 2d.

I would eventually fall asleep watching all 6 movies, lol.

I'd be more willing to do it if they had extra unseen footage in them... and the one shots... and all were edited into one long movie that flowed chronoligically. And if Joss was there to discuss. And if I got a free t-shirt.

but really... what if I end up sitting next to a heavy breather or something for 6 films??

Even if it was close, I'd have no choice but to pass. Can't watch 3D, massive hurts my head with the glasses over glasses bull. I'll just enjoy the entire series at home and then go to a matinee.

What? You can film the movie in Ohio but forget them when it's time for movie coolness?!!! That's what you get for living in Ohio.

New York is the greatest city of all time, an AMC theater is just a simple bus ride away :)
