VIDEO GAMES: New LEGO BATMAN 2: DC SUPER HEROES Trailer Hits The Web

Check out this new trailer for Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes, which shows off some new game play footage as well as revealing that The Flash will be involved in the game.

Throughout the past month or so we have gotten some new character reveals from Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes. One character that was missing from these photos, however, was The Flash. Now, thanks to a new trailer that Gaming Examiner has posted, we get our first look at Batman and friends in action including the Scarlet Speedster. Check the trailer out below which offers up a look at the massive playing area for the game.


Batman and Robin return in LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes, the highly-anticipated sequel to the best-selling LEGO® videogame of all time, which to date has sold more than 11 million units worldwide. This time the Dynamic Duo join forces with other famous DC super heroes including Superman, Wonder Woman and Green Lantern to stop the notorious villains Lex Luthor and The Joker from destroying Gotham City. Batman fans of all ages will enjoy a new and original story filled with classic LEGO videogame action and humor as players fight to put the bad guys back behind bars.


Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes will be released on PS3, Xbox 360, Nintendo 3DS, PS Vita, Nintendo DS, Nintendo Wii, and will hit stores on June 22.

I loved the first one. Now that this one has more DC characters, I must get it, lol.

@marvel72. That would be because you're a Marvelite. Your name even has "marvel" in it.

Loved the first game and this one looks infinitely better. Although the only new villain looks like Lex which will be a bit of a disappointment but who knows, maybe this will launch spin-offs into LEGO Flash, LEGO Green Lantern, LEGO Superman, LEGO Wonder Woman etc.

@marvel72: You didn't realise? wow, Aren't there some Marvel Studios threads where you can go talk about how much you love them rather than posting pointless stuff about your preference to Marvel on DC based articles?

@ironknight: I hope so, I know there are some downloadable villains but I hope more of them are part of the main storyline, I have seen Sinestro actually but he was absent in the trailer.

Cool. I'm sure it will be lots of fun. That said the Lego Avengers game that will follow it will be epic. Looking forward to the Marvel Lego Universe coming to consoles.

Why not call this lego Justice League?

I hope they make Lego Avengers after this. They can let you play each solo movie and then the Avengers movie at the end.

i will be playing the hell out of this game hehe a lego marvel game would be a better fit though. gotham is too dark a place for lego. and why is this even called batman2? it should just be lego dc heroes. dc has no faith in their other characters. they poured it all into batman and everyone else is just a subtitle to them

The game looks great. It looks like the biggest Lego video game yet.

Unfortunately, I heard this won't have online co-op, but I'm still going to check it out.

Lol, my friend and I were joking about seeing Flash's little Lego legs running really fast. His is going to be a fun character to play as. :D

Sweet! the day after my B-day! I loved the first game and this looks pretty awesome. not sure about the voices tho...that was kind of the staple humor of Lego games was the mute characters, but still looks great.

So why is it called Lego Batman 2: Super Heroes? Why not call it Lego DC Heroes, or something. y'know, since a big focus is that you get to play as the DC universe...
