Man Of Steel is out to make the non-action oriented Superman Returns a distant memory and according to this very small but very cool possible detail, it very well could do just that.

Bleeding Cool has a bit of information that they obtained at this years San Diego Comic Con regarding Man Of Steel. The information is not confirmed by them, but it is really cool none the less. The info they have been given is that during a fight sequence in the film Superman uses a building as a weapon. Here is exactly what Rich Johnston was told, "I have been told details of one specific scene in particular, in which Superman breaks apart a building and uses the building itself as a weapon in some kind of ‘super martial art’ fashion. “Girders as throwing stars” was the specific example I was given." This rumor is unconfirmed at the moment so make sure you take this bit of information with a grain of salt. However, Snyder has said that he wants to make Superman relevant again, and based on this possible description it sounds like he just might.

Man Of Steel stars Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Kevin Costner, Diane Lane, Michael Shannon, Antje Traue, Ayelet Zurer, Russell Crowe, Laurence Fishburne with Christopher Meloni, Harry Lennix, and will be released on June 14, 2013.
