Can't wait. It's amazing that so many people whined about the teaser being so dull and listless. There is a reason why its called a "teaser". Give the movie a chance. I saw the Comic-Con footage myself and I'm still excited just from seeing the teaser.

Really excited for this to be released. The teaser was was alright (short and brief), but didn't really give me anything. Can't wait!

its a shame they did film any of it IMAX, im not looking forward to the hobbit to any real degree (other than being interested in the 48fps) but i would have defnatly travelled to the giant imax in london to see it if it had a batman-esque imax prologue before it

I bet this new trailer will just be a rehash of the trailer that was shown at Comic-Con. Still, I'm looking forward to it!

My biggest concern was that the teaser seems to confirm my fears that Man Of Steel will use a desaturated color palette thruout.

I've posted about this in an earlier discussion, but to recap; pulling out the color not only makes the film feel more dated (cira "The Matrix" and the"Underworld" franchises), but doing so also makes the audience pull back from what's happening onscreen. Note how many of our fellow members here wrote of the apparent apathy in the audience they viewed the teaser with.

Of course, Mr. Snyder may surprise us all by going BOLD and VIBRANT with his colors at some point in the movie (one can only hope).

Too many people judge a book by its cover. Im optimistic about Man of Steel and want Superman to return to greatness. Superman is DC's baby not Batman. A #1 Superman comic is worth more than a #1 Batman comic. Nolan is producing it and Snyder is directing so it should be really good and the cast is excellent. Have a little faith and allow superman to retrurn to the top where he belongs. Teaser is a teaser, enough to excite and piss u off at same time. Watch the movie then judge the movie. Teasers and trailers arent the actual movie. MOS is doing exactly like Nolans Dark Knight movies were released and they all did well. He is over seeing MOS so he will make it better and Superman will be good.

That rumor is false. Snyder said they won't bring other superheroes in this movie, and frankly having WW in a Superman origin movie makes no sense story-wise.

Their only concern should be (and is) to make a good Superman movie that can be the first piece of a succesful franchise.

i love superman above and beyond every other superhero (though i love them all).
i love superman above and beyond any other fantasy/sci-fi concept.

i desperately hope and want MOS to be a movie that mops the floor with marvel.
i want it to remind everyone why superman is the KING!

that said- the teaser is awful. it is.

saying its great does not make someone a better superman fan, does not mean youcare about superman anymore than the rest of us.

the teaser "teased". it did NOT excite.
difference with a distinction.
after ten years of smallville giving you 5 minutes of cgi superman, after the somber "superman returns" they need to communicate RIGHT NOW that this is superman with full out wall to wall excitement.
those aware of the comiccon footage feel pretty good about superman's chances- but the general audience did not see that. they saw a sad bearded fellow petting a dog, on a boat and hitchhiking. 5 seconds of superman flying straight up MIGHT tell the audience its superman but otherwise it is a total downer.

this is NOT a good teaser.

a teaser for a spectacle movie should be like a hot chick with a hawt body winking and flirting with you- like a waitress at hooters- who then plays hard to get.

THAT is a tease. exciting, wanting more.

what the MOS teaser is, is more like an ok-looking chick who wants to complain about her job or some b*llsh*t feminist persecution complex and then expect you to buy her stuff while flipping out at the suggestion she's even ON a date.
thats a tease- but nothing that says "oooooohh.... i want more!"

Off topic, but does anyone know when the IMAX Skyfall trailer will be released online?
