The list of actors joining Kick Ass 2 has continued to grow and grow since the movie was announced. There has been confirmation that all the major cast from the first film like Chloe Moretz, Aaron Johnson, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and even Nicolas Cage are set to return, with new comers like Donald Faison and John Leguizamo just to name a few. A couple weeks ago rumors started floating that Jim Carrey was in talks to join the sequel as The Colonel. Now Deadline has confirmed their own suspicions by reporting that Carrey has accepted the role for the much anticipated follow up. Carrey is a big fan of the first film that was directed by Matthew Vaughn, even going as far as dressing up like the title character and singing a duet with Conan O’Brien, so it's no surprise that he would jump at the chance to be apart of the movie.

Kick Ass 2 is scheduled to hit theaters on June 28, 2013 and stars Aaron Johnson, Chloe Moretz, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Donald Faison, John Leguizamo, Morris Chestnut, and Robert Emms.
