MrChuff - 10/10/2012, 9:22 AM
I'm just hoping they release the whole thing, edited together into one movie. Absolutely no reason to split this story in two....apart from CASH obviously.
If it's not released combined then I'll download both and cut them together myself and WB can lick my winkle.
jimpinto24 - 10/10/2012, 9:31 AM
I can't wait until The Dark Knight Returns Pt2!
Bark4Soul - 10/10/2012, 9:39 AM
I like the covers, they are in no way bad art but they should really have Frank Miller art on them, someone will do custom sleeves I'm sure.
MutantEquality - 10/10/2012, 10:27 AM
I can't wait for this movie! DC animation is so on all the time. I hate waiting years for Live Action adaptions to be honest so this is great that they do about 3 a year. I just wish once a month they would play them in theatre. Now That would be something to cheer for!
Now if only Marvel would get a clue. Hulk vs. series was amazing. They need to step it up.
drfate - 10/10/2012, 10:38 AM
splitting this movie in two is just a marketing ploy so we pay $30 instead of just $15. good for them.
DukeAcureds - 10/10/2012, 11:08 AM
Prot3ctor@ That would only work if they got DK2. A lot of fans of the original really don't get the sequel. It's to different. Bruce Timm is die-hardon the '70s/'80s comics, so I'm not sure if they'd do a good version of it. But I think DK2 is an awesome book. But you have to get it. The humour, especially.
I like the cover, in homage to All Star Batman & Robin.
marvel72 - 10/10/2012, 11:14 AM
looks good,i do think both parts should of been one long feature though.

it sucks that i have to get out the chair to change disc's over.
TheBigBoss917 - 10/10/2012, 11:16 AM
i came, but the cover they used should'nt have used the old batman suit
Darkseider - 10/10/2012, 11:32 AM
Can't wait for Pt2! Part 1 was awesome! Nicely done. I still think they should use Kevin Conroy in all animated features that include Batman. He is THE definitive Batman!

Jer3miah - 10/10/2012, 12:09 PM
Damn, that was incredible! I think DC has officially made their best animated movie series. Part 1 was by far one of the best and could easily be the best and part 2 is looking like they're about to top part 1.

Too much win.
TheTank - 10/10/2012, 12:21 PM
I love it. That whole exchange ending with "May the best man win" is my favorite in the book. I only wish that they kept it the way it was and have it between Clark and Bruce, not Supes and Bats. Im assuming they are going to cut all Cold War references out of the movie, because in that same scene Clark abruptly leaves to stop a nuke launched by the USSR which ultimately detonates in the desert blasting sand into the sky turning it into glass and blocking out the sun which nearly kills superman.
TheTank - 10/10/2012, 12:27 PM
I take that back, supes takes off and leads to the scene where he's tossing a tank. Sorry lol been nearly 20 years since i really sat down and read this.
KNIGHT3000 - 10/10/2012, 12:35 PM
it sucks we have to wait that long
GoILL - 10/10/2012, 12:46 PM
@TheTank

They may still have the exchange the way it was in the book in this film. I say this because when the trailer for Part 1 debuted they had Batman saying "I'm not finished yet" to the Mutant Leader instead of him saying "Show Me" like he did in the book and movie.
BillyBatson1000 - 10/10/2012, 1:12 PM
Looks great but was that the box art? It didn't fit the animation 'model', unlike part one's cover.
SUPERBATSPIDERMAN - 10/10/2012, 1:24 PM
If my ears are correcti think Superman is Mark Valley and Joker is Michael Emmerson. I did that without looking at IMDB but it is correct. lol
TheBatman3000 - 10/10/2012, 1:53 PM
you know..thats a bit spoilerish....for those who haven't read the whole book...yeah i know..i really gotta do that lol
incrediblesuperbatspider - 10/10/2012, 2:01 PM

Thanks, can't wait

Here is what I still cannot comprehend... Why can't some of the big shot movie studios just stay true to the comic books? Great stories are great stories. Animated movies like these prove that change for change sake is not always necessary. A few liberties..OK. But the great writing and story boards are right at there finger tips. With todays CGI and special effects comics should come alive with very little bastardization.

For instance, If they would have only done "Knightfall" instead of the OK(I'm being nice here) movie that we got who knows...

I will be adding these animateds to my collection

The only thing I don't like is the delivery of some of the lines. I kind of thing they should've brought back some old actors to play the roles. Adam West to make a return as a darker and older Batman maybe - and if they could Jack Nicholson as an older form of the Joker!

I mean that would've been balls to the walls.
