A stand in is some one who does just that, their someone who looks like the actor who'll stay in the scene while they prepare lighting and ECT for shooting. I loved TASM l, can't wait for more.

I'm pretty torn over The Amazing Spider-Man 1/2. The first time I watched the first I hated it... Second time round I enjoyed it alot more. I think Jamie Foxx was a miscast but we shall see... Am certainly not a fan of Andrew Garfield.

TASM doesn't fair too well with repeat viewing it really is a poor movie there was no need for an origin story, you could've told certain key plots in flashback like what they done with his parents. Also because of how old Garfield looks it is better to have him at college, but this was the first movie were you could believe he has a brain. Saying all that the sequel should benefit from what was wrong with TASM.

I'm wondering why they need a stand in? Perhaps an action scene? Maybe she'll be more involved in the movie than we thought.

the problem was not that they retold the origin story. the problem was that they didn't do a good job of it.

it could have been a nice personal story of peter parker, reintroducing him to us in a new interesting way. but nope. they just [frick]ed it all up at every turn. i won't even bother listing everything wrong with it. i might as well rewrite the whole [frick]ing movie.

^and no, my problems aren't its faithfulness to the comics. my problems is how it fails at what it's trying to be.

TASM was boring, I know its a reboot, but I wish marc webb could just skip the intro(since everyone is aware of what happens) and dive more in the action. He should have also cast more than one villian, because the lizard is not enough to entertain. At least two villians per film.

"I'm wondering why they need a stand in? Perhaps an action scene? Maybe she'll be more involved in the movie than we thought."

I think you're confusing "stand in" for a stunt double. Every main character on a film has a stand in on a movie set, they do all the boring work of standing in a scene while they work out camera shots, lighting, etc... so the actual actors don't have to stand there for hours.
