My bad guys, in my head I was thinking Cap came out next year. Guardians Of The Galaxy is his only opportunity to appear in any other Marvel films after Cap. I have reworded the headline and teaser so it makes more sense.

Nick Fury not being in G.O.T.G. is not much of a surprise. If anything, it would be Abigail Brand of S.W.O.R.D. That would make better sense, especially if Marvel is trying to build their cosmic universe.

Im sure he cant speak on it due to contractual reasons, im pretty sure it wont be just CA:TWS and that's it.........

@yingyangpalms, It's popular enough to have been featured in video games. It's popular enough to have dozens of action figures crafted after it. It's popular enough that it is one of Marvel's oldest running title series. It's popular enough hundreds of people forge cosplay costumes and fancasts celebrating it. And last, but no where near the end of the list, it's so popular that a studio that, by now, knows what works (Iron Man) and what does not (Iron Man 2, to an extent), decided to adapt it into a mult-million dollar costly film, in which case, when revealed, a plethora of people screamed with glee and the world wide web went nuts over the news.

I know, both by looking around and by my fellow geeks that a TON of people want this. And they do care, because regardless of how well it does, they're getting their beloved characters on screen and possibly in the Avengers 2.

Plus with a cult-following, self-proclaimed, super geek such as James Gunn? Of Super, Dawn of the Dead and the upcoming comedy, Movie 43 fame....And whom is terrific friends with Simon Pegg and other sci-fi icons. Who just happens to tap this whenever he damn well pleases:



Not to even mention his friendship with Joss Whedon, whom is accommodating him with the film, I'm gonna say it'll do damn well at the Box Office.

If Jenna Fischer is casted as Gamora, I will flip shit. That'd be so cool and weird at the same time.

Maks sense...I mean they are in space, i'd expect more of another cosmic related character making a cameo or end credits scene appearance than SLJ
