F*ck this show, it is an insult to spider-man. They may as well of called this deadpool with all the fourth wall breaking it's got . It's an absolute crime that this has gotten more episodes than spectacular spider-man and that this got it cancelled. You wouldn't think spidey's marvels flagship character with the way they've been treating him over the last 6-7 years.

I really hate it that YouTube videos are there as the pages load on this site then DISAPPEAR when the page fully loads. This doesn't happen on any other site. CBM makes their site unusable if you read it on an iPhone or iPad.

And oh yeah, this show sucks and everyone knows it! Of course some people like it but some people would like anything no matter how bad it is. You don't have to be sanctioned by Shield or any other government agency to be a hero.

Saw the trailer to this show for the first time and hated it. But I decided to give it a chance via netflix. Watched the WHOLE season... And I still [frick]ing hated it. This is the worst Spider-Man incarnation of all time. They really need to cancel and start over.

the show has progressed a lot since its first episodes. they removed some of the not-so-funny quirky outtakes during the show and concentrated more on the actual story.

it's a fun spider-man cartoon and although i was not thrilled when it first aired, i have come to appreciate it for what it is. hopefully, they'll continue to improve upon it and not cancel it after 2 seasons like the past few spider-man cartoon ventures.

@ToDandy Exactly! And the whole shield thing really takes away the thing that made spider-man big in the first place, which is the everyday life of Peter Parker. Not to mention nick fury teaching spidey to be responsible completely negates uncle ben's lesson and spider-man as a character.

im not gonna say spidey is my favorite show or the best spidey but i enjoy it, the animation is the best out of all spidey shows and great fight scenes, plus im not gonna lie i do laugh here and there lol. i would rather have this then no spidey show

After watching Drake Bell's appearances as Spider-man on Avengers: EMH, I really think that his voice is ok for the character. It's just that this show's writing is pretty bad.

@Chloefornication, Really, because last time I checked, Disney knew how to make quality animation for children. Too many fans blame Disney for Marvel's faults because it's easier than admitting the company you love is making bad creative decisions.

Ultimate Spider-Man is starting a new season?

Spectacular Spider-Man beats this poor excuse for a show every day of the week.

@Chloefornication,

"Then I think last time you checked was 20 years ago. Nowadays Disney is dead when it comes artistic-wise"

2012 Wreck-it Ralph: 86%
2010 Tangled: 90%
2009 Princess and the Frog: 84%

They may not be making masterpieces like the used to, but they're far from dead.

"but after Disney bought them...God, things turned out to be even worse."

If I'm not mistaken, Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes started after Disney bought Marvel. There are only a few Marvel series that are arguably better than that. It easily beats many of the pre-Disney shows such as Spider-man Unlimited, X-men Evolution, and Avengers United We Stand.

Jeph Loeb, who is one of the key people at Marvel Television, has been influencing things for about as long as Disney has owned Marvel. It's less logical to assume that Disney (a multinational mass media corporation who owns networks like ABC and ESPN) is bringing Marvel television down than it is to consider that Marvel television's own creative team is just not doing a very good job with its animated projects.

This show is obviously for kids and should show opposite of the Super Hero Squad. I absolutely hate what they've done with Luke Cage on this show. He is wearing overalls, googles, a flat top and horrible impersonation of black conversation for Christ sake!!! EMH got it right.

IJS, Can we get Aaron McGruder and his team on the Boondocks to come up with a show that accurately articulates true to life, black conversation. I would love to see McGruder do a Heroes For Hire show.

I generally like the animation and character design on this show. Too bad they can't seem to balance comedy and drama very well. (Seriously? An absurd comic aside every 20 seconds?!)

Come on people you need to chill. At the end of the day there are more important things in the real world to get upset about than a animated series.

You don't like it fine but the way some of you are acting you thing Disney has committed murder or something.

Remember this cartoon is aimed at young kids. Just accept it for what it is. Either you enjoy watching it or you don't. I rather enjoy it. It's fun. And this is coming from a guy who's favorite character has been Spidey since I first started reading his comics way back in the late 70s.
