Cartoon Network Breaks Their Silence On YOUNG JUSTICE And GLTAS Cancellations
There are a lot of distraught fans thanks to Cartoon Network and their cancellation of popular Saturday morning cartoons Young Justice and Green Lantern: The Animated Series. The network has finally issued a statement. Click here to see what they had to say.
More and more is slowly coming out in regards to Cartoon Network cancelling Green Lantern: The Animated Series, as well as Young Justice. We have heard from show producers, but now Cartoon Network has released a statement as well. While it doesn't really give an explanation as to why they shows were cancelled, it assures fans that DC Nation isn't going anywhere. Check it out below.
“Thank you to all our fans for expressing just how much they love DC Nation on Cartoon Network. There’s still more new Young Justice and Green Lantern: The Animated Series to enjoy in the coming weeks. And DC Nation isn’t going anywhere; there will be plenty of new adventures coming your way later this year.”
So there you have it. It would seem as if they didn't realize how beloved the shows were, and this is just something they threw together to try and put fans at ease. Right now the only two things in the works to replace the shows are Teen Titans Go!, which will debut in April, and Beware The Batman, that will premiere over the Summer.
