Nightcrawler: The Latest Mutant Bryan Singer Is Teasing For X-MEN DAYS OF FUTURE PAST

Earlier today Bryan Singer said he wasn't sure whether or not Halle Berry, as Storm, would be returning for X-Men Days Of Future Past. Now, he has been asked if Alan Cumming would be coming back as Nightcrawler, and he didn't say no.

Once again we have a coy answer from Bryan Singer in regards to another popular Mutant returning for X-Men: Days Of Future Past. This time it revolves around Nightcrawler. Singer was talking to Huffington Post about Jack The Giant Slayer when he was asked if Alan Cumming could return. "I don't know. We'll see. You know ... we'll see," he teased. When pressed a little further he explained, "I don't want to ... sometimes you don't want to say "yes" or "no" to something that may not be a "yes" or a "no," or anything. I haven't decided yet, a few things." The script is still apparently not done, and he is toying with who he will be bringing in, Nightcrawler included.

There have been a number of mutants from the first X-Men franchise that have been confirmed for X-Men: Days Of Future Past, including Iceman, Kitty Pride, and Rouge just to name a few. There have also been a few teases like Halle Berry possibly returning as Storm. As more casting announcements happen, we will keep you informed.

Please lets just leave Halle Barry out of this one. Recast or make Storm the first mutant to die in whatever catastrophe comes their way.

I would rather not have Storm if it means Halle i dont give a shit about the character Berry comes back. If her and Cyclops were recast i would be so so happy.

Obviously Singer is just waiting for Alan Cumming to commit. I'll say it again, his enthusiasm for this project is obvious & I really respect Singer for that.

Ok this is the one time I will agree with Cameron. The only scene better than that Nightcrawler scene is the circular shot of the Avengers.

A movie script is never finished morons, you think soon as production and filming starts that it the script doesn't get tweaked or changed whilst the movie is being shot. C'mon if your gonna shit on Singer then shit on him for what looks like nostalgia overload I mean its not fair to judge the guy the older cast might just have 5 minutes screen time or something. But one things guaranteed Fassbender is gonna rule.

alan cumming has claimed that the nightcrawler makeup was a nightmare to sit in on. may be hard to get him to commit unless its for a substantial part.

Well, great to hear that Rouge is back. I prefer that character to Rogue.

I also hope that Nightcrawler and Colossus are in this! I thought Nightcrawler was one of the best treated characters in the movies thus far and I still feel like I didn't get to see NEARLY enough Colossus! They're 2 of my favourite X-Men!

Like many have said before Colossus is also a character we really need more of ! Iceman / Colossus should be in their proper forms 99% of time spent on film . one of the many things that pissed me off with the films was he only "turned into iceman" once... and for the love of god make rouge super strong flying around knocking heads off sentinels.

This movie doesn't have a good chance as it is our best hope is that it isn't a total cluster [frick]- similar to X2.

Nightcrawler is one of my favorite X-Men. I hope we see him again. Cummings did a fantastic job.

I really hope to see Colossus.

I think I have to agree with @jDuke on the Nightcrawler > Captain America, as CA was one of the weaker films of the MCU, but that's only my opinion. If you loved it, great! The better for you. But Nightcrawler news definitely more epic, due mostly in part to how the represented him. Really worked well for the film I think. Just my two cents.

Oh and BTW jDuke, just because I agree with you on this, does not mean I agree with you overall, or even like you at all. Think of it as a "at least we can agree on one thing"

Nightcrawler is my fave Marvel character was a big fan when was a member of Excalibur. For me the Whitehouse scene is the greatest action sequence in the history of CBMs.
