I have a feeling the Winter Soldier will be plotting to the President and Shield and Cap are tasked with keeping the President safe and trying to stop Bucky before he goes through with it.

The Russo brothers, who directed that god-awful comedy You, Me, and Dupree, get to craft a political thriller with The Winter Soldier.

the winter soldier storyline is fantastic,its just the russo brothers directing that concerns me.

marvel studios prove me wrong.

@CaptainObvious...well Jon Favreau directed only Elf and Zathura...and he brought Iron Man...
Kenneth Branagh wasn't used to direct CBMs but it did a fair work IMO

Then they took someone expert with action movies, but that usually only write movies, and then..the Mandarin popped out...
So, i'm betting a lot on the Russo bros. because if someone that directed a romantic comedy can impress positively marvel with a cap movie idea, then it should be original ;)

I have complete faith in Marvel and the Russo Bros. just from Community alone, that's a show for geeks made by geeks. Unlike that shit show The Big Bang theory, which is a show written by ass holes that think that's how nerds and geeks are.

People also don't like Cap because he doesn't have Super Super powers, but that's why he's the greatest character. He doesn't need that shit to command a god and tame a beast.

Anybody doubting the Russo Brothers needs to watch Community, and the way they balance a big cast with some of the best writing available.

Also watch Welcome to Collinwood. Another great ensemble movie, just ask Sam Rockwell, William H. Macy, and Mr. George Clooney.

So film with a good story is a WB comic book film monopoly? Huh, by whose logic is that? From time immemorial film exists to bring good story, and it doesn't start by WB comic book films.

I think it's more like WB is trying to copy Marvel by attempting Justice League movie when it should delay making it for two decades when you have already collected pension money bound to a wheelchair like typical old DC geezers.

Spider-Man 2 and the first two X-Men films already had 'story over action' before any (modern) Batman film.

And I'm someone who likes Nolan more than any Marvel film, but you talk like if The Dark Knight Saga' (or DC) invented a trope which is as old as the genre itself. Lol.

@LEVITIKUZ Considering in Thor and iron man 2 there is about 2-3 action scenes in each movie and they make up about 15-20 mins of them and they are both roughly around 2 hours. So how are they action over story?

wonder if they will make captain america actually look credible because he looks no stronger than widow or hawkeye, there was only 1 supersoldier in phase 1 and his name was emile blonsky, looked far more impressive than captain america when fighting and taking on the hulk, one on one
