The Walking Dead tells the story of a small group of survivors living in the aftermath of a zombie apocalypse. Most of the story takes place in the Atlanta metropolitan area, as the survivors search for a new home away from the shuffling hordes of the "walkers". The plot is focused primarily on the human element of a post-apocalyptic world and the way the struggling humans survive. The group is led by Rick Grimes, who was a sheriff's deputy in a small Georgia town before the zombie outbreak. As their situation grows more hazardous, the group's desperation to survive pushes them to the brink of insanity. At every turn they are faced with the unbearable horrors that come from having the dead walk again, the changing dynamic of their group, as well as facing hostility from the scattered remains of a struggling human populace who are focused on their own survival, now that the structures of global society have collapsed.

Thanks to the website Bleeding Cool, check out the clip which features Lori Grimes (Sarah Wayne Callies) and Dale Horvath (Jeffrey DeMunn), as well as the promo trailer right below.

The Walking Dead will return on February 12, later this year.

i thought the season was shit, but the last episode re-triggered my love for the show. I'm a fan of the books so I'm comparing it to them. My friends who haven't read the books loved this season. Probably because they don't know the potential the show actually has. Mchonne is being added and they've also said the governer is going to pop up. and they may have also comfirmed the prison which all in all is enough to keep me tuned in.

Much ado about nothing. The first season was fantastic. This half season has been DOA, pun intended. I understand every story can't be about shooting "walkers" but this hey lets have sex on the farm storyline is getting old. The clock is ticking for me on the second half of this seasons story and depending on how it turns out will determine whither or not I will be back for season 3.

I haven't read the comics but I have seen every episode of the show and I love it. Can't wait for the second half of season 2 to air.

I think the show has the same pace as the book. Give the show some slack to try to set things up for us and stop trying to rush things - Everyone one wants everything to happen all at once; its a serie and it should try to fill in some gaps that the novel doesnt touch up on. Im sure everything will unfold (Eventho its really not following the book). yoUnahWaddaMeen?
