In Pacific Rim, legions of monstrous creatures known as Kaiju started rising from the sea and begin a war that would take millions of lives and consume humanity's resources for years on end. To combat the giant Kaiju, a special type of weapon was devised: massive robots, called Jaegers, which are controlled simultaneously by two pilots whose minds are locked in a neural bridge. Under the direction of Guillermo Del Toro, and starring Charlie Hunnam, Idris Elba, and Rinko Kikuchi, the movie is set to be released on July 12, 2013.

ThreeBigTacos - 7/7/2012, 9:55 AM

Spidey91 - 7/7/2012, 10:18 AM
holy sh*t!
I knew they were going to be big,but that thing is massive!
mc7791 - 7/7/2012, 10:19 AM
wow that is massive. I thought in one of the original descriptions that the Jaegers were only 25 feet tall. That thing is way beyond even 25 meters tall. Hmmm since 2 of the cast members are from Sons of Anarchy I wonder if we will see them riding some bikes or see one with a Harley Davidson decal on his Jaeger operator uniform. Too bad we will only get a description of footage if there is any. Anyone know if filming had begun?
MovieMann - 7/7/2012, 10:21 AM
Im a fan of Del Torro,
But this type of stuff just doesn't do it for me.

Though I will glady eat my words if it turns out great.
Bigred20 - 7/7/2012, 10:26 AM
Ehhhh....
PersonaPostOvo - 7/7/2012, 10:41 AM
Halo.

Can't wait

(No sarcasm)
SuperDude001 - 7/7/2012, 10:41 AM
I'm looking forward to this film, but the only problem is it just reminds me of cartoony fights like Power Ranger's Megazords or Gundam Wing, and unfortunately while this poster is cool it does remind me of that little annoyance.
beane2099 - 7/7/2012, 11:01 AM
On principle this movie has to be seen. It's too cool NOT to. I don't care if you call it Voltron Lite or Wannabe Gundam it's giant robots fighting giant monsters. I'm sold. If it ends up sucking, I'll deal with it then.
Nubase - 7/7/2012, 11:01 AM
in the name of odin!

Look at the size of that thing compared to the birds and the two humans on the shoulders! lol!

If it has the same human element that real steel had it will be a winner, del toro has not failed in anything he's done so far

Bring it on!
ThatOneDude - 7/7/2012, 11:21 AM
Holy...Shit
gambgel - 7/7/2012, 11:22 AM
that's not huge, thats INSANE, Lol

I wasnt expecting something as big as that robot, its like a normal transformer x 100, or something like that
TheFirstClass - 7/7/2012, 11:30 AM
This REALLY makes me wanna see a rebooted PG-13 Power Rangers movie now tbh.
GrayMatter - 7/7/2012, 11:34 AM
Squeeeeee!
