In After Earth, a crash landing leaves teenager Kitai Raige and his legendary father Cypher stranded on Earth, 1,000 years after cataclysmic events forced humanity's escape. With Cypher critically injured, Kitai must embark on a perilous journey to signal for help, facing uncharted terrain, evolved animal species that now rule the planet, and an unstoppable alien creature that escaped during the crash. Father and son must learn to work together and trust one another if they want any chance of returning home. Under the direction of M. Night Shyamalan and starring Will Smith, Jaden Smith, Isabelle Fuhrman, Kristofer Hivju, Gabriel Caste, and Zoë Isabella Kravitz, the movie is set to be released on June 7, 2013.

Cool Poster. Really nice.
Hoping it doesn't end up like I am the Legend.
Nicely looking, badly written, with awful CGI effects.

Plus waiting too see Will Smith to show his acting chops again.

I usually hate when posters use the actor body as a clipping mask for scenery within them (insert dreadful XM:FC posters here) but I really like this one. I'm excited for this movie, although I know it probably won't be too awesome haha.

I Am Legend was awesome..
Anyway, i had sworn off ALL M.Night Shyamalan movies..but this looks interesting. I might wait for more information on this one, but i'm cautiously optimistic.

Notice that M. Night's name is not emphasized.
Slak - 3/13/2013, 4:04 AM

Zero tolerance for nepotism in 21st century film.
I'll be damned if I'm wasting two hours of my life watching a two-hour promo for Team-Smith™ incorporated.

You seriously telling me that of all the young acting talent about - his actual son was the best choice? - bollox!!!.
Crap like this speaks volumes of their Team-Smith's ego and the low-intelligence of the executive film studio team that greenlit this film.
valeriesghost - 3/13/2013, 8:07 AM
That poster looks....pretty sweet

M. Knight is capable of making a good movie, we've seen it before. Hopefully this is a return to good story telling for him.
SuspenseSmith - 3/13/2013, 9:22 AM
New trailer looks good... why do the trailers always make M. Night's movies look good? I hate getting suckered into these. I'll wait for reviews. If it's like less than 50% on RT, I won't bother.
SuspenseSmith - 3/13/2013, 9:23 AM
Still can't beat this "After Earth" film...

SuspenseSmith - 3/13/2013, 9:28 AM
The problem is I love Will and Jaden. And I used to like M. Night back in the day. Arg! Torn!
ComicFan1134 - 3/13/2013, 9:34 AM
THAT'S IT!!! Jaden For Miles Morales!!!
Gulon180 - 3/13/2013, 10:02 AM
take a good look, we just saw the best thing about this flick.
ISeeStupidPeople - 3/13/2013, 10:33 AM
My only hope is that Shyamalan doesn't bring down the House of Smith.

@NoAssemblyReqd
Hahaha. I imagine the Last Airbender is specifically what did that to him.
