"Detective Pretty Boy" Featurette For THE FLASH Contains New Footage And Interviews
A new featurette for The Flash focuses on Detective Eddie Thawne and how he's viewed by the rest of the characters who pass through Central City PD. The brief video also contains some new footage from the pilot, as it introduces us to the man who could one day become Reverse-Flash...
Detective Eddie Thawne will be played by Rick Gosnett in the pilot episode of The Flash, and as fans of the comics should already know, his name is extremely similar to that of Professor Zoom, a.k.a. Reverse-Flash. This is obviously a very different take on the character if they are one and the same, and it should be very interesting to see how he does evolve from "Detective Pretty Boy" into the Scarlet Speedster's greatest enemy. Check out the brief new featurette below (which drops some hints about a possible relationship between Thawne and Iris West), and then be sure to let us know what you think about the footage in the comments section below!
After a particle accelerator causes a freak storm, CSI Investigator Barry Allen is struck by lightning and falls into a coma. Months later he awakens with the power of super speed, granting him the ability to move through Central City like an unseen guardian angel. Though initially excited by his newfound powers, Barry is shocked to discover he is not the only “meta-human” who was created in the wake of the accelerator explosion — and not everyone is using their new powers for good. Barry partners with S.T.A.R. Labs and dedicates his life to protect the innocent. For now, only a few close friends and associates know that Barry is literally the fastest man alive, but it won’t be long before the world learns what Barry Allen has become…The Flash.
