Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson pretty much said outright that he'll be playing Shazam at some point in the very near future during an interview for Hercules earlier this week, but he has now seemingly confirmed the speculation which followed via his official Twitter account. Cleverly, he doesn't actually reveal whether it'll be Shazam or Black Adam that he's signed up to star as for DC Comics and Warner Bros., though the latter is a character he has most often expressed interest in in the past.
Either way, this is pretty exciting, and with a tease like this it wouldn't be at all surprising for it to be made 100% official at the studio's panel at this weekend's San Diego Comic-Con...
