From Marvel, the studio that brought you the global blockbuster franchises of Iron Man, Thor, Captain America and The Avengers, comes a new team—the Guardians of the Galaxy. An action-packed, epic space adventure, Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy” expands the Marvel Cinematic Universe into the cosmos, where brash adventurer Peter Quill finds himself the object of an unrelenting bounty hunt after stealing a mysterious orb coveted by Ronan, a powerful villain with ambitions that threaten the entire universe. To evade the ever-persistent Ronan, Quill is forced into an uneasy truce with a quartet of disparate misfits—Rocket, a gun-toting raccoon, Groot, a tree-like humanoid, the deadly and enigmatic Gamora and the revenge-driven Drax the Destroyer. But when Quill discovers the true power of the orb and the menace it poses to the cosmos, he must do his best to rally his ragtag rivals for a last, desperate stand—with the galaxy’s fate in the balance.

Great Movie....

RONAN was bad ass...Lee Pace looked imposing and sounded just like Ronan from that Fantastic Four: TWGH cartoon from a few years ago.( which is a good thing)

Was a bit disappointed Drax wasn't as vicious as he should be but the Movie as a whole was FANTASTIC. Groot and Rocket, Quill, Everyone was pretty strong except i wish they fleshed out the Nova corps more.

Definitely worth seeing a second time.

Did anyone else notice all the parallels between GOTG and Lego Movie?
Both star Chris Pratt as an unknown everyman who enjoys listening to his favourite tunes.
Said everyman discovers a powerful ancient relic, and teams up with a gang of loveable misfits to prevent a villain from using the relic to destroy the universe.
Both feature a diverse colour pallet and appeal to both young and old audiences, as well as cramming in tons of pop-culture references and weird, wacky landscapes.
See what I mean?

i was about to see gotg but as i was standing online i saw about 12 snot nose brats and the parents that wouldnt do anything to shut their little pieholes
Pedrito - 8/4/2014, 5:25 AM
Bullcrap, you can't pose a Lego figurine's arm the way Gamora's is shown. False advertisement! :)

Those Lego GOTG sets are amazing, though. With actual vehicles from the movie, unlike previous Marvel sets.
