From Marvel, the studio that brought you the global blockbuster franchises of Iron Man, Thor, Captain America and The Avengers, comes a new team—the Guardians of the Galaxy. An action-packed, epic space adventure, Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy” expands the Marvel Cinematic Universe into the cosmos, where brash adventurer Peter Quill finds himself the object of an unrelenting bounty hunt after stealing a mysterious orb coveted by Ronan, a powerful villain with ambitions that threaten the entire universe. To evade the ever-persistent Ronan, Quill is forced into an uneasy truce with a quartet of disparate misfits—Rocket, a gun-toting raccoon, Groot, a tree-like humanoid, the deadly and enigmatic Gamora and the revenge-driven Drax the Destroyer. But when Quill discovers the true power of the orb and the menace it poses to the cosmos, he must do his best to rally his ragtag rivals for a last, desperate stand—with the galaxy’s fate in the balance.

Before she "had" to be green? It's not a rule that must be enforced. She's always been green, does making her blue seem like a task that must absolutely be done to keep you happy?

The artwork itself is good though, and I would have liked that design but with the classic green, however it does seem too "robotic" like Nebula.

good artwork, but she didn't "had" to be green, she already is...the hell?

Damn these designs are dope. Gamora's designs the only gripe I had with the movie. I want to see something like this in the second one.

I'm really starting to really hate everything about this movie when ever other focken article is about this overrated film.

I haven't yet seen it........

But am about to wait till DVD LOL.

Seriously, if t.v. Killed the radio star...

Than hype has killed GOTG.

Not that excited now :/ and there are lots that feel the same...

She should have been played by a white chick, not because of racist but white girl's face better adopts different color, if that makes sense...

I actually agree that they should have changed her color. Not for any other reason then the inclusion of Mantis in future movies. I think having two full green women from different planets one being Earth, will be confusing for people.

@Gnoxorm

It was a good time but its by no means a masterpiece. It's cheesy and predictable but it worked for me. I didn't find a lot of the jokes funny and there was NO suspense but I think overall it's worth watching.

Whaaa? It's true, White girl has a different facial structure when you paint her she looks like a girl of that color, when you paint a black girl she just looks like a black girl with paint on. Or that's just me, what ever [frick] it.

How the hell can you say this movie is overrated when you haven't even seen it yet? The hype is more than justified. This is one of Marvel's best films. And if hype kills movies for you, then are you going to skip Age of Ultron or BvS? No. So for the love of all that which is holy, never go full retard again.

Gamora used to have grey skin actually.

Cool look, especially for detail around the eyes which are closer to her comic appearance.

Although glad they went for the green. I'm guessing the cause for them possibly make her blue might have been that Drax was already green?

In any case they fixed this with them both just being a different shade of green.

Although if you think about it in this in that way it does make sense. Glad they did it the way they did though.

@DarthSandwich - Actually we're ALL black genetically, we're just different levels of black. The only ones who can argue that they are purely "white" are the albinos...since there is NO pigmentation in their skin cells.

Wrap your brain around THAT.

Gamora was so plain GOTG. I like these early designs. Would've loved to have her look like this except green
