In The Amazing Spider-Man™ 2, for Peter Parker (Andrew Garfield), life is busy – between taking out the bad guys as Spider-Man and spending time with the person he loves, Gwen (Emma Stone), high school graduation can’t come quickly enough. Peter hasn’t forgotten about the promise he made to Gwen’s father to protect her by staying away – but that’s a promise he just can’t keep. Things will change for Peter when a new villain, Electro (Jamie Foxx), emerges, an old friend, Harry Osborn (Dane DeHaan), returns, and Peter uncovers new clues about his past.

Starring Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Jamie Foxx, Dane DeHaan, Chris Cooper, Paul Giamatti, Colm Feore, Sally Field, and Chris Zylka, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 is set to be released on DVD and Blu-ray later this month. Will you guys be picking up a copy? Me neither.

I wonder what happens when he touches an iPad....
yossarian - 8/14/2014, 7:20 AM
I feel that Josh should handle all TASM2 related articles.

Furthermore, I propose that the editors have a meeting and divide up the franchises to report on. Then, if they dislike the the franchise they report on or not, they bash the franchise with each article. hahahahahaha This would be great.

Ror could bash the MCU
Freshman could bash the DCCU
Josh can bash Spidey
Nails can bash X-Men
Everyone can bash the Fantastic Four

When Dc greenlights that Static Shock film, its going to be electrifying!
Highflyer - 8/14/2014, 7:25 AM
As soon as I read the article's heading, I knew Josh wrote it.
SuperCat - 8/14/2014, 7:25 AM
LOL. As soon as I saw "Goofy" in the headline I knew it was an article by Josh.
yossarian - 8/14/2014, 7:28 AM
Has anyone ever defended/liked the music in this franchise?
Pasto - 8/14/2014, 7:36 AM
@yossarian
I like the music.
StarYeezus - 8/14/2014, 7:38 AM
The score always felt inappropriate/out of place.
Pasto - 8/14/2014, 7:39 AM
Lmao at "inappropriate".
yossarian - 8/14/2014, 7:43 AM
Right. Has anyone not crazy liked the music?
SuperCat - 8/14/2014, 7:47 AM
LOL!!! @ yoss

Nah, don't like the music.
Dotanuki - 8/14/2014, 7:57 AM
Cringe-worthy.
SmokinIndo - 8/14/2014, 8:00 AM
Please make it stop
FordEl - 8/14/2014, 8:02 AM
@Dotanuki

And Guardians wasn't? lol
ChanchoMcGrady - 8/14/2014, 8:06 AM
@Yoss
I liked the music in this movie. Hans Zimmer is amazing.
Wasn't a fan of the first movie's score though. This one was similar, but actually good. Not Zimmer's best work, but I do find myself playing it in my head from time to time.

The fist scene with Spidey free falling with his main theme gave me chills and fits the mood....other than that, it sucks.

The slavery is real for Spider-Man right now.

StarYeezus - 8/14/2014, 8:13 AM
@Pasto

Referring to the first one, most notably the part where Spidey and Lizard are fighting in the highschool. The music in that scene felt tacked on; it sounded joyous rather than tense.
ckal - 8/14/2014, 8:14 AM
This movie [frick]ing sucks.

I have not seen this movie.

But I know it sucks.
V8ER - 8/14/2014, 8:17 AM
You know I don't mind these movies, but when you look at what Fox/Marvel and Disney/Marvel are doing, then you look at the Spider-Man movies. It's kind disappointing.
V8ER - 8/14/2014, 8:17 AM

The editing and music was the worst in TASM1, but IMO that movie is still better than TASM2.
GiantNerd - 8/14/2014, 8:19 AM
This movie was garbage. I don't know why web can't make a [frick]ing movie about Spiderman entertaining. Something about his style is just bland.

The one scene I liked though was the spider sense scene with Electro and the civilians.
GiantNerd - 8/14/2014, 8:22 AM
@StarYeezus

The editing and music was the worst in TASM1, but IMO that movie is still better than TASM2.

I personally thought the editing in TASM2 was even worse. It did not flow whatsoever. It was like someone with ADD edited it.
Snotzo - 8/14/2014, 8:22 AM
This is basically just a cut and paste article, watch out it might get taken down.
StarYeezus - 8/14/2014, 8:24 AM
The "best scene" was undoubtedly the airplanes on a crash course. So tense!

Arrowhead77 - 8/14/2014, 8:26 AM
LMAO...I could tell by the headline that Josh wrote this!
StarYeezus - 8/14/2014, 8:29 AM
@GiantNerd0720

"I personally thought the editing in TASM2 was even worse. It did not flow whatsoever. It was like someone with ADD edited it."

You should be more respectful towards Avi Arad's disability.
SpiderFraud - 8/14/2014, 8:32 AM
That deleted scene was horrible, though.

I officially think Spider-Man 3 is better than this movie.

Sony makes me hate being a Spidey fan.
Dotanuki - 8/14/2014, 8:36 AM
@FordEl

Calm down, son. This ain't an article about GotG.
Adriel - 8/14/2014, 8:38 AM
"Another gooffy character..."

Oh please, tell me how the Raimi movies didn't had such characters in that that Mr. Ditkovich, or Bruce Campbell cameos or that old lady signing the Spider-Man theme in Spider-Man 2.
0megaDaGod - 8/14/2014, 8:47 AM
@Dotanku

When the butthurt is that strong, EVERY article is about GOTG
CitizenV - 8/14/2014, 9:00 AM
Electro fans?
JamesMan - 8/14/2014, 9:12 AM
The scene was fine.

It's Spider-Man, I'm used to goofy characters.
Ramiel - 8/14/2014, 9:13 AM
While I liked TASM 2, I still believe Spidey needs to come back to Marvel. Sony don't know what they are doing.
THEDARKKNIGHT1939 - 8/14/2014, 9:15 AM
Wtf.
THEDARKKNIGHT1939 - 8/14/2014, 9:15 AM
Wtf.
Dingbat - 8/14/2014, 9:20 AM
This movie is nowhere near as bad as people make it out to be.
Dingbat - 8/14/2014, 9:21 AM
SpideyFan - 8/14/2014, 9:39 AM
@Dingbat Nope, you're not alone un this. I enjoyed TASM 2 too, I think the first one was better. But this one was likeable and it's not that bad as the MCU lovers and douchebags in this site claims it to be, Josh is one of those...
Dandy - 8/14/2014, 9:44 AM
Hey Josh, I know you need to make some articles but ALL of the Amazing Spider-Man 2 scenes have already been posted to main. Why do you keep putting them up again?
