'The Flash' WILL Be In BATMAN V SUPERMAN, But Don't Expect A 'Green Lantern' Cameo

Set photos of Scoot McNairy wearing some green socks for unknown CGI related reasons have led many to speculate that he's The Flash in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justcie. Well, a new report confirms that the Scarlet Speedster is in the movie, but Green Lantern won't appear until Justice League!

Badass Digest have been dropping a lot of superhero and Star Wars scoops recently, perhaps in a bid to give Latino-Review a run for their money. Either way, their report on Scoot McNairy and his snazzy green CGI socks offers up some possible details on the members of the Justice League who we will see assemble in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. The site can't confirm either way whether the Argo star will indeed be playing Barry Allen (or even Wally West as Barry currently has his own TV series), but their sources apparently tell them that The Flash will indeed make an appearance in the movie, and that, "by the end of the movie we have a Justice League assembled that includes Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg, The Flash." Wait a second, what about Green Lantern? His 2011 movie may have been a flop, but fans are expecting to see one of the ring wielders make an appearance in Batman V Superman or Justice League. Well, according to those same sources, we won't see a Green Lantern until Zack Snyder's Justice League, while that is a little disappointing, it's likely because they want to spend a decent amount of time reintroducing the character. What do you guys think?

I've got a scoop I've been sitting on for a very long time now.

May have to drop it soon.
Maxi91291 - 8/19/2014, 11:39 AM
@Pasto

Is that some hen slang ?
McNyagano - 8/19/2014, 11:40 AM
For the record, I don't believe that Scoot McNairy is the Flash. Why would they CGI his legs? That would be unnecessary. For Peter and Pietro both in DOFP and AOU they had the actors on set running at normal speed and add in the VFX later in post production. If he turns out to be the Flash, I wanna know why they're adding VFX to his legs.

@Maxi91291
It's a legit scoop m8.
Gusto - 8/19/2014, 11:40 AM
They should take their time reintroducing Hal Jordan.
Afterall, he is the greatest character in the history of all literature.
Pasto - 8/19/2014, 11:41 AM
@McNyagano
Maybe for the electricity effect.
yossarian - 8/19/2014, 11:41 AM
Since DC is all adult and gritty, I hope they really focus on Hal banging a 13 year old. Gotta have those serious adult themes right guys?
Pasto - 8/19/2014, 11:41 AM
Hal Jordan is a coward. My first comment proves that.

I wwas ust trying to be funny. OK, is it DoJ related since you mention it here ? Why wait so long ?

@Maxi91291
It's for BvS and (if true) JLA.
yossarian - 8/19/2014, 11:45 AM
Maybe he is playing Lieutenant Dan?

I smell a DC/Forrest Gump crossover!
CharlesLord - 8/19/2014, 11:45 AM
yea im trying to understand why would they CG his legs if he were the flash. I like to think there are simpler ways to do that without CG to only his lower legs. If he turns out to be flash, id love to see the process of giving him super speed wit the cg legs.
Maxi91291 - 8/19/2014, 11:49 AM
@Pasto

But seriously .. looking forward to it if its something mighty.
RedNTheHood - 8/19/2014, 11:50 AM
If McNairy is Flash ima be like...

Tainted87 - 8/19/2014, 11:51 AM
I honestly don't trust DC to get it right. Wish I did, but nah, I'm not gonna worry about it.
Gusto - 8/19/2014, 11:51 AM

CommanderShepard - 8/19/2014, 11:51 AM
I am looking forward to seeing this scene in Justice League, if they do used Hal Jordan

Pretty much the only thing Hal Jordan is good at....
SKOne - 8/19/2014, 11:51 AM
I honestly think they should go with John Stewart or leave Green Lantern out.
DEVLIN712 - 8/19/2014, 11:51 AM
Kinda disappointing, would have liked to see Hal again
Pasto - 8/19/2014, 11:51 AM
HIGHLIGHT FOR SCOOP: Apparently Maisie Williams has been spotted on the set of BvS wearing an outfit similar to that of Donna Troy.
DylanTBest - 8/19/2014, 11:52 AM
People think Hal Jordan sucks. People think John Stewart sucks. Make Guy Gardner the JL Lantern, everyone wins.

Brainiac13 - 8/19/2014, 11:53 AM
Cool.....I want GL introduced properly!

Only characters better than GL.............Bats & Supes.....IMO!
Dotanuki - 8/19/2014, 11:53 AM
I doubt he's the Flash. I think it's more probable that he's a victim of the Metropolis incident who becomes a rabble rouser.
Desrow - 8/19/2014, 11:53 AM
Poor @Gusto

HEY, GUYS, PASTO SAYS MAISIE WILLIAMS IS PLAYING CLAYFACE'S FOOT.
