New Details On A BATMAN V SUPERMAN Scene Featuring Ben Affleck's 'Bruce Wayne'

It's been a year since Warner Bros. announced that Ben Affleck will play Batman in Zack Snyder's Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice, so it seems appropriate that we have some details on a scene featuring Bruce Wayne tonight! It's minor, but also pretty intriguing...

To celebrate the one year anniversary of Ben Affleck being cast as Batman, Batman-News have dropped a scoop about a scene from Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice which they've received details about. Last week, Zack Snyder was shooting in Detroit's Masonic Temple, a building which is used as a reception hall for weddings and similar types of events. For this movie though, a large kitchen in the building was transformed into what the site describes as, "an underground MMA fighting arena and bar" similar to the one from Fight Club. People are there betting on the outcome of the fights and Bruce Wayne apparently joins them! When asked what he's doing there, he apparently replies, "I'm kind of a night person," and has a conversation with someone at the bar. It's hard to imagine this just being a random moment thrown in to show us what the vigilante gets up to in his downtime, so it should be very interesting to see how the location factors into Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice! What do you think? Click on the link below for the full report.

Bet he's there to see Dick, who he hasn't spoken to in a while.
Grodd87 - 8/22/2014, 7:05 PM
That is a batman comment I like it
MrNiklander - 8/22/2014, 7:05 PM
Probably this could work as an introduction for Bruce Wayne before he returns as Batman
TonyChu - 8/22/2014, 7:05 PM
Batman is in Fight Club. That is pretty interesting.
FordEl - 8/22/2014, 7:06 PM

There was humor in Man of Steel. But it was appropriate when need be and wasn't too much. I feel this line however is borderline cheesy.
JoshWilding - 8/22/2014, 7:07 PM
Actually, my article was posted first. :) It was just scheduled to not show until 7pm so you guys wouldn't see an unfinished version! The other's URL ended with 62, this one ends with 61 (in case you need proof).

I don't like that Josh has to explain himself.
DaVinci31 - 8/22/2014, 7:12 PM
Brad Pitt's abs CONFIRMED.

I just hope its not overbearing and not even funny like some movies are...Because then it takes me out of it and I can't really enjoy the movie at all. They should keep the same witty dialogue and humor levels the same. To me Man of Steel had undertones of hope and it wasn't dark to me.

sapach - 8/22/2014, 7:17 PM
@JoshWilding you need to edit what Bruce says.

it's "I'm kind of a night person", not "I'm king of a night person."
ManThing - 8/22/2014, 7:17 PM
Very cool. That sounds awesome. I bet Bruce jumps in there and kicks some ass
Rokyn - 8/22/2014, 7:17 PM
wtf king of a night person? For someone who sure keeps scheduled sure cant proof read for shit. Should've let a better writer actually writeand proofread the article you money whore.
JohnnyCloud - 8/22/2014, 7:18 PM
Matches Malone?
SuperDude001 - 8/22/2014, 7:19 PM
If he's playing an older Batman that's retired before Superman shows up, it might be a scene set before he returns to being Batman? Just thinking, it could fit as undercover work but it would be more original to have Wayne doing these underground fights to deal with not being Batman. Idk just seems a very odd scene to me...
InfiniteMonkey - 8/22/2014, 7:19 PM
Whoever wrote this script needs a grammar lesson! LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

What a load of bollocks. This movie is going to be very entertaining when people are going to hear that line. *collectively scratching their heads* "king of a night person."....?????? LOL
THEDARKKNIGHT1939 - 8/22/2014, 7:19 PM
He's most likely doing Detective work
Rokyn - 8/22/2014, 7:19 PM
This maybe the stage where he recruits a new robin....if they want to be modern and realistic. ..why not pick up a 15-18 year old mma fighter as a robin
SuperDude001 - 8/22/2014, 7:20 PM
Either way that line he says is gold...
sapach - 8/22/2014, 7:21 PM

no man, in Batman-News the line says "I'm kind of a night person", Josh had a grammatical error
MrBlackjack - 8/22/2014, 7:21 PM
I think it'd be cooler if he hoped into the ring himself.
InfiniteMonkey - 8/22/2014, 7:23 PM
@Sipprelle, ARE YOU SURE?
They are supposed to be the editors and contributors to a worldwide comic book movie site. LOL

Either that, The BATMAN V Superman script writers are just so in a hurry to get the script out they forgot to proofread. LOL
batmanvsuperman - 8/22/2014, 7:23 PM
Don't u mean kind of a night person not knig
ALegendaryPanda - 8/22/2014, 7:24 PM
This thread is hilarious lol
FordEl - 8/22/2014, 7:24 PM

That proves nothing
DaVinci31 - 8/22/2014, 7:24 PM
Speaking of sports, that Patriots game was pretty hard to watch . . .
JoshWilding - 8/22/2014, 7:26 PM
Yeah, well, I thought "I'm king of a night person" sounded better, but if you insist that I change it...

@MrCBM56: Me neither, but it's a choice between that or endless bitching! :)
SauronsBANE - 8/22/2014, 7:28 PM
Wow, seems like all the resident idiots of are out in full force tonight. Jumping all over a tiny typo, whining about articles being deleted, raging that the journalistic standards of aren't up to snuff...and barely anyone actually talking about the scoop itself. Nice.
MrBlackjack - 8/22/2014, 7:28 PM
Only for Panthers fans DaVinci.
MrBlackjack - 8/22/2014, 7:28 PM
Eh, didn't actually watch the score, but it looks as if Brady and co. torched the Panther's D. Maybe Brady wasn't on the field when they scored though, I'm not sure how much he actually played.
SauronsBANE - 8/22/2014, 7:29 PM
I agree with MrBlackjack, it'd be awesome to see Bruce climb into the ring himself and go a few rounds, just to show off his physicality. Sounds like this scene could have some legitimately funny dark humor in it as well. I like it.
Rokyn - 8/22/2014, 7:29 PM
just shut the [frick] up please
MrBlackjack - 8/22/2014, 7:31 PM
I don't imagine Brady actually took that many snaps.
Batman52 - 8/22/2014, 7:31 PM
All I gotta say is two words: Aaron Rodgers!!!
MrBlackjack - 8/22/2014, 7:31 PM
Preseason games in general are too boring for me to watch.
