Has The Rock Confirmed That SHAZAM Won't Be Set In The DC Cinematic Universe?

There has been speculation in the past that Shazam will be a standalone movie with no links to the Justice League or DC Cinematic Universe, and now a Tweet from Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson in response to a fan seemingly reveals that it may indeed be set apart from those.

Warner Bros. and New line cinema work closely together, so the fact that the latter studio is releasing Shazam shouldn't stop the character from appearing in Justice League if Zack Snyder so desired. Of course, comments from New Line President Toby Emmerich back in September did seemingly indicate that it would be a standalone release. Here they are again if you need a reminder! "It feels to me like like 'Shazam' will have a tone unto itself. It's a DC comic, but it's not a Justice League character, and it's not a Marvel comic. The tone and the feeling of the movie will be different from the other range of comic book movies." A Tweet from Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson (who will play Black Adam in the movie) earlier this week seems to confirm that it won't be forced to adopt the same tone as the movies set in the world of the Justice League and that "#Independence" hashtag could be an indication that they have control to handle the property as they see fit. Things can change of course - especially as we're so far from the release date - but reading between the lines here...it definitely sounds as if Shazam is set in its own world. Thoughts?
