This show rocks but I am not sure how long this show can last on this premise. As I said before they really need to have flash forwards or each season they jump forward a few years so we can Bruce grow up and train to be Batman, or any of the other baddies evolve into their final forms etc......

I would just love a flash forward where we see Batman beating the crap out of someone like the Penguin and then it flashes back to the Penguin in the past etc.......

Love, love, love this show! Easily the best dc show on tv. Arrow & Flash suck eight shades of donkey balls and Constantine is a joke that will be canceled in a month, but Gotham is awesome!

Great show. I'm not sure how I feel about Alfred teaching Bruce how to fight though. It seems off to me.

If they would just concentrate on the crime family'esuqe ( I don't care if that's a word, or not..., just sounds good to me.) tones of the show, and the one man trying to make a difference in such a corrupt town, vibe...., it would be even grandeur then what it is. Who cares if we know where this is all leading to..., that eventually Jim Gordon will fail, and will need help. This is what we call a theme of a exciting tragic tale...., everybody love a tragic ( if even ONGOING,) story once in a while.

Good show, but Alfred is REALLY miscast.

He should come across as wise and paternal....instead, he comes across as a little creepy and MEAN. Like he's always pissed or something.

Really disappointed to hear that Harvey Dent will become a reg in season 2. This show already has too many characters.

It kind of bothers me that Harvey Dent is already a lawyer in the show. Bruce and Harvey have always been around the same age (at least to my knowledge) now Harvey is at least a decade older if not more. Bruce is 13 and Harvey is at least in his mid 20's (the actual actor is mid 30's). So when Bruce Wayne becomes Batman at about 25 (based on the year one comic) Harvey Dent will be late thirties or late forties.

@itclark64 agreed. Why not have Harvey in law school with Barbara. It'd at least give her something to do.

This is back when he was just Harvey Scratch. He'll become full-fledged Harvey Dent later............

@loki668 hopefully, Dent will move on from lawyering and work with/for Internal Affairs investigating Gordon and Gotham PD so we see how/why he earns his nickname.
