AVENGERS Star Mark Ruffallo Weighs In On Benedict Cumberbatch As DOCTOR STRANGE
If you were expecting the Sorcerer Supreme to make an appearance in Avengers: Age of Ultron to blast the Hulk into outer space a la Planet Hulk, think again, as Mark Ruffallo has yet to meet the latest addition to the MCU. He is however excited for the British actor...
At one point, rumours and theories started circulating that Avengers: Age of Ultron would see the Hulk blasted off into outer space, taking him off the table for Captain America: Civil War and leaving the door open for a Planet Hulk movie. The Illuminati being responsible always seemed unlikely, and the fact that Mark Ruffalo has not yet met Benedict Cumberbatch means that we can pretty much forget seeing Doctor Strange before his movie in 2016 (which seemed pretty obvious anyway). Regardless, the Foxcatcher star is the first member of the Marvel Cinematic Universe to weigh in on the addition of Benedict Cumberbatch, so check out his reaction in the video above!
