Don't do it WB. Reach out to Common to see if he still wants to play Green Lantern.

He's as old as Batfleck and has a Golden Globe. Sure the Globe is for music but everyone defended Batfleck with his Oscars in writing and directing.

Common's stock is going up.

I don't think Gibson is a terrible actor I just don't get John Stewart from him. Seeing him in Transformers, Four Brothers, and the Fast and the Furious films he just doesn't work as John Stewart and that is probably to blame with Phil Lamarr playing Stewart so well in the cartoon series. Maybe he will surprise me if he is playing Stewart but I am less then thrilled right now.

You know what maybe it's a good idea Tyrese is letting WB know that he should be John Stewart, but not for him to be cast only the idea of using John Stewart as the main Green Lantern instead of Hal.

The DCCU is taking notes from Arrow and Flash by casting through a series. I'd say next they should cast Paul Walker as Deadman.

i wouldn't mind if he play john stewart but i don't think he could hold his own movie. Maybe if they did like a green lantern corps movie with all the lantern then he'll be fine

@Fairyemblem92 WB can make Green Lantern like Ant-man and here me out on this. In Ant-man Scott Lang is Ant man and Hank pym is the former Ant-man, so how about make John Stewart the main Green Lantern, but Hal Jordan is already the leader of the Green Lantern corps?

I think the key word here is that he said "mission" rather than making it seem like as if he got the role. I honestly think he's just auditioning to be honest. Too bad Elba can't get his hands on the role. He gives the feeling like he could honestly care less about the Thor films. lol Too bad. :(

However, I wouldn't mind seeing Michael Jai White get the role. Come on man, Look at the man...



But he's already been on Arrow...another loss. lol
