I agree this season of Arrow has been the worst. It really seems like CW are constantly firing writers and getting in new ones to fill in the blanks for each episode. None of them follow the plot consistently anymore and there are just so many fillers.

Season 2 was great, Slade was such a well built up antagonist and had a presence in nearly every episode. Season 3? I can't tell whether it's Ra's, Malcolm, or this Brick Guy as the main antagonist.

Bring back Ra's, have him try to cleanse the city with lazarus pits, whatever, just have a big fight, build up Ra's' character and get the show back on track.

Season 1 I thought was awesome and I was willing to forgive the whole spiderman story line thing. Then season 2 started to get a little costume party ish but I forgave it because Deathstroke is so cool even though they ruined him and Ravager and neither really had anything to do with the comic version....and then this season seemed to be going in such a great direction after Oliver was "killed" and then they screwed it up. It's now a full on costume party and it's almost hard to watch...

Wow, you guys really don't like this season? I think by far it is the best. I have really enjoyed all the character development. Everyone has undergone some kind of change. The last two episodes Roy has really stepped up as well. I love Laurel trying to be the new Canary. Malcolm and Thea have been a great subplot, so has Oliver flashbacks as he is working for ARGUS. I think the build up for Ra's is fine. It is different than how they approached Slade and that is fine. They are making you fear him by telling you how powerful he is instead of outright showing you. It paid off so well in the mid season finale, because we saw that Oliver was no match for him, and we have seen over the last two and a half seasons what Oliver is capable of. The finale is sure to be epic.

In my opinion, this season has been fantastic and people are EXTREMELY overhyping season 2 to make this one look bad.

The positives of this season:
Everything Ray Palmer
Ras Al Ghul
The evolution of Arsenal
The evolution of Black Canary
The hunt for Sara's killer
Flashbacks now are pretty great.

The negatives of this season:
Felicity and Oliver's relationship
Too much focus on Felicity...
Flashbacks took awhile to get going,

That's really it. I'm enjoying the season. People need to stop shouting doom for everything.

I agree with everyone this season has been boring. I'd like to see the Lazarus Pits used to bring back Tommy and Sara. This way their minds go crazy like Jason Todd did and have them coming back more as a villain, then a hero.

He has UN connections and is part of the Illuminati. Plus he's a very smart businessman and fighter.

Everyone's comparing Season 3 to the back half of Season 2. You guys are forgetting Slade didn't show up till episode 15 of S2. And didn't really start doing much until 18. We're only on episode 12 of S3. Just wait a few more episodes and we'll a lot more Ras & the League in Starling.

I'm liking this season. Not much is gonna top Deathstroke though, that guy was bada$$. Looks like Katana's husband is trying to get Ra's at start of trailer with like 10 guys and at end of trailer they are all crushed. Be good to have Ollie back, it is getting a little nutty without him.

The evolution of Black Canary is a positive. That is the one thing that is bringing this season down a whole lot.

It cant be a evolution when the current Canary is nowhere near the same league as the previous one.

Laurel is such a inconsistent character and her going out in field and being the center of attention instead of Diggle is stupid. The writers is not giving us as an audience the respect we and the character Diggle deserve by not doing this and having this guy with suit right now. But let two week training Roy and Laurel go out every week.

The writers trying to force this character down our throats just for the sake of it cause she's the canary in the comics instead of just letting the fan favorite Sarah stay the Black Canary is a big mistake to the fan base that are loves that character.

Granted Season 3 is still a great show just not as good as the beautiful written season 2 with Slade. But if it continue with the horrible Laurel arc with her being out in the field just so soon and not giving the other characters the respect they deserve, then they will lose a good percentage of they fan base like me.
