The X-Mansion is a set?! I always thought they went on location in Vancouver. That means they keep building the thing.

I know some people like the FoX-Men movies but every time I see news from one...it's just a reminder that some of my favorite characters are still in Fox's hands and may never see an accurate screen portrayal. Rogue, Annihilus, Silver Surfer, Galactus, Havoc, Cyclops...looking at you

No sorry to be a hater, I gererally love this series, but lets have at least one classic plot or even moment from the comics? That would bring me joy.

I believe the exterior shots are a real house, but not in Vancouver (Singer usually films in Quebec). The interior is all sets.

Now...I could be wrong. But isn't the mansion design different in the original trilogy from First Class and DOFP?

I remember that staircase from DOFP, but not from any shots in the original trilogy (although it's been a while since I watched them).

I guess it's cheaper to rebuild the sets from their (I'm sure) detailed blueprints than to store them?

Or maybe they save the surface panels and only have to rebuild the frameworks.

Makes me sad to think about movies like STAR WARS, where massive setpieces like the Falcon were probably dismantled after filming.

This is somewhat of a beneficial example of what it may look like when the avengers and guardians fight thanos in infinity war 1 and 2. The motion capture tech singer uses on thos and how he displays these seemingly global destructive fights, pre cursor in a way of what marvel can do with Thanos and Infinity war. I'm so exicited to see Apocalypse and they have an amazing actor playing him

Why do they keep remaking the sets? If they knew they were going to do a follow up to DOFP why not just keep them?
