Andrew Garfield Performs Wire Work During THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN Reshoots In LA
Reshoots for
The Amazing Spider-Man
have now moved to Los Angeles, and Andrew Garfield has been spotted pulling some very Spidey-like moves while hanging from wires in his Peter Parker get up.

There's not a lot that you can really pick up from the following set photos in terms of "spoilers", but it would appear that Andrew Garfield's Peter Parker/Spider-Man has no problem showing off his powers in public and out of costume.
Just Jared
don't provide any specific details as to what was going on in these scenes, but they do have a few more photos which you can find by clicking on the link below to head on over to the site.
STARRING:
Andrew Garfield as Peter Parker/Spider-Man
Emma Stone as Gwen Stacy
Rhys Ifans as Curt Connors/The Lizard
Martin Sheen as Uncle Ben
Sally Fields as Aunt May
Denis Leary as George Stacy
RELEASE DATE:
July 3rd, 2012.

my ONLY issue with the movie pics so far is that he is way too old to be in high school. his face is starting to show his age.

@Scorpion8125 "all they needed was a new script" Yeah. Right. New actors more like. They were so STALE after 2.

I never bought Tobey Maguire as Spidey, so even though I feel this re-make is coming far too soon, I'm glad to get a Peter Parker who looks and sounds more like I thought he should.
The only thing that would have made this production better is if it were a Marvel Studios film in the same universe as THE AVENGERS. *sigh*

@Scorpion8125- Don't back off; you're not alone.
Said it many times: A re-boot is completely unnecessary.
I am not going to see this movie unless I hear from members here that it was true to Pete's mythos and not another 'Green Lantern'.
If it's kosher, then I'll probly' go see it.

@NoRegrets: Well said. Thank You, thank you, thank you. So glad I'm not the only one who feels that way. Spiderman needs to be done justice. Raimi's films strayed too far away from the comics after the second film and in general. Amazing Spiderman is going to deliver, just wait and see, especially all the haters out there.

I agree with Scorpion8125 on this one. The 3 first ones are still fresh and they were not that bad. Like them or hate them Spiderman 2 is seen not only by many fans but also by critics as one of the best superhero movie of all time. It just feels too soon and wrong to me... really.

Just watched 500 Days of Summer again.
Great movie. Still curious to see if Webb can do action. He certainly has the knack for grounded realistic emotions that the previous films lacked.

Raimi's pointless dance numbers:
Webb does it better:
It'll be the same way with Spiderman. Mark my words. Whatever Raimi can do, Webb can do better.

Anyone who thinks this movie sucks because it's not made by Marvel Studios has to understand how business works, Sony and Fox keep the rights to Spider-Man and X-Men as long as they keep making movies, those franchises are guaranteed to pull in a large audience and because of that, they get money. It's all about money folks, even if you don't want to admit it, it's all about money.

Oh yeah, lets make a fourth movie cause they're all so [fricking] great. I mean have you guys seen 'Batman and Robin'-'Indiana Jones 4'-'Terminator Salvation'-'The Next Karate Kid' i know they all deserve OSCARS right?
Complaining about the movie isn't going to stop them from releasing it.
If you don't want to watch it. Don't watch it.
You're just wasting your time commenting on threads for movies you don't want to see.
The Amazing Spider-Man is going to be SICK! ALL YOU HATERS CAN STFU

@Scorpion8125
to add to that, all the examples of bad "fourth" films were actual sequels. This is not a sequel, it's a Batman Begins for Spidey. It's a freaking reboot, which means Sony learned their lesson from Spider-Man 3 just like Marvel learned from Ang Lee's hulk and WB learned from Batman and Robin.
The Incredible Hulk was a reboot and was good.
Batman Begins was a reboot and was good.
Why shouldn't this one... especially since Sony needs a good solid hit badly. This could very well be the savior for Sony/Columbia Pictures. If not, they might just give up their studios altogether.

Agree about the spidey sense, especially as he's wearing headphones here. It makes sense that he reacts to something he can't actually hear.
