If there's one thing that director Zack Snyder is pretty much consistently good at, it's action, and Man of Steel looks to be just as brutal and awe inspiring in that respect as the likes of 300 and Watchmen. The guys over at Facebook - Superman: Man of Steel (2013) have just posted the following set photo from a scene which looks like it was torn straight out of a comic book! We're currently not 100% sure who or where this originated from so stay tuned for further updates in regards to its authenticity and be sure to sound off with your thoughts in the usual place.

Where are he Marvelfanatics saying how boring or lame this is compared to avengers destruction? That pic is sic, looking very promising
MovieMann - 1/11/2012, 4:50 PM
I don't think something like this is physically possible. But it's awesome none the less.
redleaf - 1/11/2012, 4:52 PM
Really glad Snyder is using a lot of practical effects.
CraptainAmerica - 1/11/2012, 4:54 PM
@moviemann. I agree. It's definitely not humanly possible. I think it would only be possible if the man were super.......oh
Coldblood6 - 1/11/2012, 4:55 PM
I'm a MARVEL fan and I think that looks bad@$$.

Snyder always does good action scenes. I'll see this movie for that alone.
Greengo - 1/11/2012, 4:56 PM
They still have telegraphs?

It looks like a log from the log truck that's scewered
Niuhll - 1/11/2012, 5:00 PM
I don't understand how the logs it was carrying impaled it. Cool though.
dahamma - 1/11/2012, 5:04 PM
Now ya see that!? ONLY superman can do something like that!! ALready better thann Returns!
MaddMonkk - 1/11/2012, 5:06 PM
How much stuff do we see in action movies that isn't possible? "suspension of belief" remember? If you want a believable CBM i suggest.....none of them.
JDUKE25 - 1/11/2012, 5:07 PM
@MaddMonkk exactly
superbigguy32 - 1/11/2012, 5:08 PM
This isn't where I parked my car.

I will be seeing this Movie on opening day !
MovieMann - 1/11/2012, 5:20 PM
@CraptainAmerica
No I mean that it is physically impossible for a truck to land like that with the two poles of wood angled that way.
But like I said before, it still looks freaking awesome.
golden123 - 1/11/2012, 5:28 PM
It's funny that some of you think this picture is better than anything "Superman Returns" had to offer. When I looked at the picture the first thing that came to mind was Superman Returns. Just the way random parts of the scenery jet out everywhere. Similar to how the kryptonite island and the Kryptonion spaceship looked. Not to mention the way that truck was misplaced reminded me of the various objects in Superman Returns that were misplaced due to accidents. I'm talking about the ship on the kryptonite island, the Jet on the Baseball feild, the Daily Planet Globe falling off, and the brakeless car running off course.
golden123 - 1/11/2012, 5:30 PM
It honestly looks like a shot out of "Superman Returns".
Spidey91 - 1/11/2012, 5:31 PM
LOL,Superman just killed Optimus Prime :P
that picture alone is proof that Znyder will unleash the full power of Supes next year.

f*ck the Mayans! 2013 is shaping up to be just as awesome as this year :D
QuietStorm - 1/11/2012, 5:37 PM
I don't think the truck was flipped or anything like that. I think a super being threw those logs at another super being in the vaccinty and that's how it got like that. Or maybe it's where Zod and crew learn to play with their new powers.
marvel72 - 1/11/2012, 5:37 PM
excellent!

@ superargo

XD hahahahaha
MoonDoggyX - 1/11/2012, 5:38 PM
2013... WHYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!! Why so long...?
DaFonz - 1/11/2012, 5:38 PM
Skewered on two "telegraph poles?" Is this movie set in the 19th century, or do people in the DC universe still use the telegraph to communicate?
