Last year, rumors emerged that the THOR star was one of the favourites to play iconic Ian Fleming creation James Bond once Daniel Craig decided to leave the role behind. After winning a Golden Globe for his performance as DCI John Luther in Luther, he spoke to journalists about the win and the subject of 007 came up. Here's what he had to say.

"There was a huge rumour that once Daniel Craig finishes playing Bond that they were looking for someone different and my name was in that mix. And I answered a bunch and of questions and the bottom line is of course, I'd be honoured to play the part if it comes my way."
