Honestly, that poster really is ridiculous. Look at Hulk's size for God's sake. How does he not rip out of Banner's pants?

He's obviously smaller in the film, but could the Graphic Designer really not find a way to balance out the composition, without turning Hulk into King Kong?

Ok so he smiles...who doesn't...this is like 0.005 seconds more footage than we've already seen...

@socerer123 - Apples and Oranges - The Iron Man 2 poster is done in a SPLASHBOARD style - meaning it's simply a collage of images.

...As apposed to the Avengers poster, which is depicting an overall scene with consistent rules of perspective/lighting applied to all aspects of the image.... Except for Hulk's size, which is not accurate to how he's depicted in the film - he simply blown up to balance out the lopsided composition.

this is very true. yet tdkr changes the look of bane slightly to fit with Nolan's universe and people flip the freak out.

"How does he not rip out of Banner's pants?" How does he ever "not rip out of Banner's pants"?!?! There are times you have to suspend disbelief and roll with it. How do people really pick apart a movie starring a man who turns into a giant green rage monster? Those pants probably stay on because this isn't Watchmen II and we don't want to see a giant green dong every time he's pissed off.

exactly. If i say a major character dynamic will be changed in the Avengers for monetary purposes, nobody panics...because its all a part of the plan. But when I say one villain will get an upgraded design change to let the actor act, well then everyone loses their minds!

Oh give me a break, thats not why they did it. I think Hemsworth even confirmed Cap is the leader in the film. Either way don't you think its a bit interesting to note all the characters are arranged by their box office gross?

With JLA, Batman and Superman WOULD be the highest grosses. In fact, Batman more actually and he practically is the leader, not Superman so it would work

Let's see ... The promo is not Spanish. This dubbing is not the Castilian spoken in Spain. We are a little tired of being thrown out at all with the same brush.

I hope we get more footage of Hawkeye in the coming months.

I'm still wondering if he's going to wear his shades at any point in the movie.

Also, those of you claiming the movie is mainly about Iron Man are equally moronic. They are featuring him because people know who he is. He's recognizable and his movies made a fortune.
Cap will be, and is the leader of Avengers. Iron Man has had 2 movies under his belt already. He will bring people into the theaters.

Why are so many people complaining about the poster when the pure awesomeness of the new trailer and the movie makes that poster essentially insignificant?

Cyclops is the leader but Wolverine is always in front.
Mr Fantastic is the leader but usually the Thing is in front.
When Cable was the leader of X-Force, he was always placed at the back.
Hell even Robin is swinging in front of Batman in some covers/ posters....

this is an Avenger movie and not an Iron Man movie to hell with the Iron Man being the cash cow before as far as i am concerned, Stark was the consensus leader of the Avengers when they formed it but the most authoritative and recognized leader was when Cap enters the scene, accepted with full honors as a member and eventually becoming the leader for a long time. Iron Man in the comic book wasn't even in the original big three at the time which excluding Spider-man, the poster boy it is Captain America, Thor and Hulk as the big three. iron man's 3rd rate character status was lifted and eventually promoted on the first movie adaptation having a good story to back it up, a big budget & SFX and a little threat in it's play date
competition with only the Speed racer and What happens in Vegas as it's main rival. Iron Man 2 while had the Robin Hood remake as it's big rival at the box office. biggest cash cow eh?!...While Cap duke it out against perennial favorite like the established Tranformers franchise and the popular Wizard Potter as it's closest competitor in the Box Office, now tell me that wasn't making it big after a very long long absence. The DVD sales for the Cap TFA even made records on it's sale. while the Tin Man is naturally a kid magnet being a robot-ish and merchandise wise, Thor and the Hulk had it's own fan base as well so to put IM as the sole cash cow for this film is not entirely accurate and just an under statement.
