New PROMETHEUS Trailer And TV Spot This Weekend; Film Gets A 15 Rating In The UK

It has been revealed that a brand new international trailer will air this Sunday during Homeland in a special campaign which will then be followed up with a TV spot featuring reactions from fans on Twitter.

On Channel 4 this Sunday, a brand new international trailer for Prometheus will be unveiled during the first commercial break of the latest episode (to air in the UK) of Homeland confirm Brand Republic. 20th Century Fox has teamed with the broadcaster in a special event which will see fans Tweet their reactions with the #areyouseeingthis hashtag. A selection of the responses will then be featured in a 40 second TV spot during the next ad break. The "Weyland Investor Blog" on Tumblr also reveals that the film has received a provisional 15 rating in the UK. Whether or not this means that it will ultimately get a PG-13 classification in the US remains to be seen, but it seems unlikely at this point. Make sure to stay tuned to CBM this Sunday as we'll bring you the trailer as soon as becomes available.

Just to clarify...any conformation if this is Ridley's "toned down" version for a wider audience or the more "scary/graphic" version? I'm hoping for the "scary/graphic" version to be released...i wish to feel again the suspense and fear i had when watching "Alien". 15 rating is ok, was hoping for an 18 rating like the previous Alien. Can't wait to watch this!

I'm a Marvel guy, go Avengers, but I can't deny that The Dark Knight Rises looks and feels like it is going to be freakin fantastic film. The excitement people got from seeing 6 mins of footage at the cinemacon thing the past couple days is undeniable. Good movies all year long!
