Tymminator - 4/27/2012, 10:45 AM
From what I remember, the pound is more than the dollar but I don't know by how much.
This is great news....SUCK IT HATERS!
TonyChu - 4/27/2012, 10:45 AM
@RandomRonin Thanks for that clip, the people in the US got one more week. Nice to see Cap being a BOSS in that clip. Damn I cant wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Tymminator - 4/27/2012, 10:48 AM
Disclaimer...I am not a anti Nolan fan by any means...that was just for those who wanted SO BADLY. To see this film fail that they made dumb arguments on how it will no doubt flop. I don't care which film makes more as long as both do well and we know TDKR will be fine and we now know the Avengers is a solid hit. Win/win.
Tymminator - 4/27/2012, 10:49 AM
Holy cow, that chick is hot.
Fogs - 4/27/2012, 10:57 AM
oh boy, nice footage. Don't want to see more, tho. I ended up seeing the post credits scene in ultra bad quality :(
Lilvic92 - 4/27/2012, 10:57 AM
I love to troll too, but for once let's just keep TDKR vs Avengers arguements out of this discussion. I mean we already have two BOX OFFICE articles where people are butt hurt about the movies' success let's just keep it over there :D
soforizo - 4/27/2012, 10:58 AM
I guess the good news is that the success of this, will get the Justice League deserved attention and I have high hopes for the new Superman flick. It's disgusting how it seems execs get things rolling faster for characters Jonah Hex and now LOBO, rather than Flash, Aquaman, Wonder Woman or Martian the Manhunter.
Fogs - 4/27/2012, 10:59 AM
^^ World's Finest to begin with, please!
Gmoney84 - 4/27/2012, 10:59 AM
Oh my god...I just watched that clip Ronin posted and even with it in another language I was super pumped. That was amazing. I can't believe we are getting this movie.
DrLecter - 4/27/2012, 11:06 AM
Things are picking up steam. That's good.
ThreeBigTacos - 4/27/2012, 11:12 AM
Poor poor DC/WB ... it's a good to be Marvel isn't it?
kevberg - 4/27/2012, 11:13 AM
TEA......didja go? whats your verdict?
kevberg - 4/27/2012, 11:13 AM
Oh Yeah BTW...Rock on AVENGERS...............GO, GO!
JudgeDeath - 4/27/2012, 11:16 AM
going to see it in less than two hours. I'm not buying into the hype though - i've been burned far too many times.
I'm very excited for this movie but I do think a lot of the Marvel fans are jumping the gun a bit. Look at the movie that had the biggest thursday opening in the UK.... :o
Charliee13 - 4/27/2012, 11:21 AM
Saw it yesterday in 3d, best comic film ive seen, couldnt stop grinning till the end and hulk steals the show.
JudgeDeath - 4/27/2012, 11:26 AM
Tea - I'm not reading anymore reviews before I go. I stopped after I read that Hiddleston's performance was better than Heath Ledger's in the DK...
I just want to go and enjoy the movie. I don't really care how much money it makes or if it has a bigger opening weekend than the DK or Hunger Games.
Havok2 - 4/27/2012, 11:38 AM
Do advanced screenings count as a formal opening?
JudgeDeath - 4/27/2012, 11:40 AM
Havok - funny you mention that. Harry Potter and half blood prince made £7,800,000 on a wednesday and thursday preview - which dwarfes anything on the list above. Bit strange.
marvel72 - 4/27/2012, 11:44 AM
excellent,i'm going to see it tomorrow with a mate & his boy.

doing are bit for the cause.
TheActionAce - 4/27/2012, 11:51 AM

R3dRUM - 4/27/2012, 12:05 PM

GingerBird - 4/27/2012, 12:20 PM
Hiddleston better performance than Heath ledger in the dark knight?! WOOOOOOOOW now I have witnessed real fanboy dillusion.
WolvieCBM - 4/27/2012, 12:50 PM
ThreeBigTacos: It's a great time to be both. :)
ILoveSuperHeroMovies - 4/27/2012, 12:57 PM
Its about 3.2 million i think
bobevanz - 4/27/2012, 1:15 PM
They should change the title to 5 stars. What is that like numbers 5 and 6 billion? shit dun got real. 143 hours, 44 minutes and 10 seconds til epicness arrives to muh brain!
thetrojan - 4/27/2012, 1:30 PM
just in from a 5.30 start
no trailers for spider-man or dark night

we did have a hulk though.

WE HAD A HULK!
HE STEALS THE SHOW.
EXCELLENT.
8.5 OUT OF 10
only because these four kids in the seats behind me, were enjoying it so much that they discussed the movie constantly as it rolled.........
but i know when I watch it in my own living room I will give it a ten.
a full house for an early 2d show, and only about ten folk stayed for the mid credit scene......the closing titles are actually pretty good also.
gannicus - 4/27/2012, 1:35 PM
saw it tonight it was amazing everybody gets the same screen time dam and mark ruffalo as the HULK needs his own movie everybody kicks ass in this movie wait till you see the HULK vs LOKI everyone in the cinema was laughing for all the right reasons great scene i may need to see it again for the new york smackdown so much action god dam.
Gary8264 - 4/27/2012, 1:39 PM

marvel72 - 4/27/2012, 2:15 PM
£2,547,617.00 = $4,143,867.34
Gary8264 - 4/27/2012, 2:33 PM
@Ironman53, thanks man, gonna check it out
NeoBaggins - 4/27/2012, 2:56 PM
@RandomRonin Thanks! That was pretty dope. Cap seems to be giving orders and Stark being a team player and taking them.
Gerrit - 4/27/2012, 3:00 PM
The Avengers is what every CBM wants to or should be. The best ever hand down. Everyone in the theater was rooting for the heroes during the final battle, literally celebrating all of their heroic acts and there were a lot of them.
thewonderer - 4/27/2012, 3:08 PM
Hmm, its important to note Star Wars episode 3 didn't beat TDK in the long run
HughJasol - 4/27/2012, 4:51 PM
Fun movie! Lots of action.
In my best Jim Gordon voice "Loki planned to be caught. He wanted me to lock him up in the Helicarrier."
marknjoanna - 4/27/2012, 8:08 PM
marvel rules start liking it
