More like 1B inevitable at this point. Honestly if this movie doesn't hit a billion then the worlds population must have died of some crazy new disease. The hype levels are off the charts.

@mystery - I was about to ridecule your notion of it ever taking AVATAR's throne until I looked up the numbers, I think it's $10mil ahead of where Avatar was internationally on opening week end. completely agree Avatar is over-rated sh*te so even the glimpse of this possibility excites me

no... no, that could never happen? surely???

NeoBaggins - 4/29/2012, 8:53 AM
I saw THOR three times. So, if it's half as good as they say, I could do a threepete plus on this.

Does anyone have the ratings for Avatar or Titanic or Star Wars Episode 1 before they reached billion?

I'd like to track it and see how possible it is

@Dev

Agreed. I hope all this acclaim for the Hulk makes them give him a well deserved sequel as well
Hellsing
Hellsing - 4/29/2012, 9:02 AM
I don't think you yanks understand properly but believe or.not the worlds actually bigger than the world. And if jack sparrow 4 can make 700+ internationally then I don't see why the avengers can't. Any ways the movie was so god damn awesome can't wait to watch it again.

@UncannyXMan

They're taking advantage of weak overseas competition. Since Battleship has already been out, it's really only Men in Black III and that's not coming for a long time.
NeoBaggins
NeoBaggins - 4/29/2012, 9:13 AM
A bootleg can't stop this. It's like throwing a tennis ball into the sun.
