Why didn't Hawkeye wear the shades in the movie?? They would've been so badass in that final battle as like a digital read out on the lens.
samadCBM - 5/8/2012, 9:46 AM
rogers i love it
Amazo - 5/8/2012, 9:47 AM
Cap looks like he's about to cry in the helmetless one lol
Rogers - 5/8/2012, 9:48 AM

These are great to do stuff on photoshop! Nice find Josh!
Fogs - 5/8/2012, 9:51 AM
Those are used by the marketing areas.

I work in a adv. agency and the art dudes had those for some campaigns.

Pretty good!
DudeGuyMan - 5/8/2012, 9:51 AM
Epic as always, Josh Wilding.
nickh0801 - 5/8/2012, 9:57 AM
I want a screen shot of Black Widow's back side when she was talking to Loki in the holding cell.... ;)
grifter - 5/8/2012, 9:58 AM
I hope so Grif. I honestly don't see the need for the mask, even in the comics. Can someone explain to me why he needs it?
MrSuperheromoviefan - 5/8/2012, 10:03 AM
cap is still laughable
Lizardking310 - 5/8/2012, 10:08 AM
Not enough hulk. They need to keep working on caps costume that helmet bugged me the whole movie
Fogs - 5/8/2012, 10:09 AM
@grifter - Cause he's a soldier... Why Thor or Supes need the cape?

But I also prefer when the mask is off.
Fogs - 5/8/2012, 10:12 AM
@iLoveMarvelAndDC - About the material, they probably tried to make something that reminded the special forces' helmet. But not in size.

razor - 5/8/2012, 10:17 AM
The hair on Hulk's arm in the first pic looks like they didn't finish it.
Greengo - 5/8/2012, 10:23 AM
SHUT YOUR HONEY HOLE GRIF!!!!

I clicked to enlarge the image of the HULK the detail is INCREDIBLE.

see what I did there? : )
Mystery - 5/8/2012, 10:23 AM
These sure will be handy for some cosplayers
grifter - 5/8/2012, 10:29 AM
I understand a helmet... but then again he is a Super Solider. Black Widow and Hawkeye are not and yet they don't have anything protecting their head. He rides a motorcycle without a helmet lol. That mask or helmet isn't needed in this day and age anymore unless you are hiding your identity.
JonathaNisMagnuM - 5/8/2012, 10:33 AM
Cap's only problem in his costume is that his belt should've been black/brown & his ears should've been exposed. If you look at Pics in that article about the Art of Avengers Book you'll see that Whedon was about to give Cap his ears exposed, but they wanted to go for the look he had in the 1st Avenger Movie! ALL IN ALL THESE ARE SO AWESOME!!
Greengo - 5/8/2012, 10:36 AM
@GRIFTER: great points bro!

BUT I'd say it's part of Cap's costume.

I don't think it should have been hardened like an actual helmet but constructed from fabric and more form fitting so he didn't look like an egg-head.
grifter - 5/8/2012, 10:37 AM
I want to see him with that shield suit he uses in the comics now.
SpiderFan35 - 5/8/2012, 10:37 AM
I'm sure they will modify the suit a bit foor Cap 2. I say expose the ears and go for the chainmail look on the torso and it's good to go.

CitizenOfAsgard - 5/8/2012, 10:45 AM
@Josh - I want that additional picture you posted of Thor for my archive. Do you know where I can get that in large size?
Greengo - 5/8/2012, 10:48 AM
SpiderFan35: I agree it should have the layered scale look and exposed ears. Like Dragon skin body armor.

Greengo - 5/8/2012, 10:49 AM
OMG you guys remember when Cap chopped of the alien's arm using his shield???

That shit kray
JoshWilding - 5/8/2012, 10:50 AM
CitizenOfAsgard: Here you go! :) http://img6.imageshack.us/img6/5980/89317957.jpg
antonio - 5/8/2012, 10:54 AM
@Rogers if only. :(
Ceejay - 5/8/2012, 11:00 AM
Chain Mail? Exposed ears? Jesus these guys want the suit to look as cheesy as the one in the comic!

What's the point having a helmet if your ears are exposed? Who in this century wears CHAIN MAIL? The man is dressed up as a propaganda product to inspire nationalist pride, no costume based around a multi coloured flag is gonna look that good especially if its incorporates stripes! If they made that costume any closer to the ridiculous bird wings and buccaneer boots crap he wears in the comics then you'd wish he stayed in ice!
CitizenOfAsgard - 5/8/2012, 11:12 AM
Thanks, @Josh!
GUNSMITH - 5/8/2012, 11:18 AM
THERE ARE WAYS TO MAKE IT NOT CHEESY...

GUNSMITH - 5/8/2012, 11:23 AM
IT DOESNT HAVE TO ACTUALLY BE DRAGON SKIN...ITS MARVEL, VIBRANIUM EXISTS AND AT A 3RD OF THE WEIGHT ITS LIGHT ENOUGH TO ALLOW PROTECTION AND BE LESS BULKY, THIN ON MOST OF THE BODY AND THICKER PLATES OVER THE HEART AND LUNGS..WHY UNCOVERED EARS...DUDE LOOK AT THEM COVERED..FRIGGN EAR MUFFS FOR A SUPER SOLDIER...
brazilianFlash - 5/8/2012, 11:31 AM
WTF!!! I can only see Caps pics, the others arent opening.
SpiderFan35 - 5/8/2012, 11:31 AM
Holy Ceejay, don't Hulk out on us lol.

I said chainmail LOOK, like Greengo says above, I think it would give some contrast to his pants if his torso had a different texture to it as opposed to the smooth head-to-toe look he has now.

And as was said earlier, I don't know what the point of the helmet is at all, other than to show some relation to his soldier background. Widow and Hawkeye have no super powers and they don't wear head gear, so why does a super-soldier need to protect his head and his poor little ears? How does he hear anything in that freakin' thing?

I don't like the buccaneer boots, I think the gloves and boots are good now. And I don't want wings sticking out of his helmet either.

@Greengo: That shit was indeed kray ;)

SpiderFan35 - 5/8/2012, 11:32 AM
Yeah, what Gunsmith said!
Greengo - 5/8/2012, 11:49 AM
YEAH!
GUNSMITH - 5/8/2012, 11:57 AM
HE'S A SUPERSOLDIER TRAINED AND AT THE PEAK OF HUMAN ATHLETIC POTENTIAL HE NEEDS ALL HIS SENSES AVAILABLE, HE'S BETTER THAN THE BEST SOLDIERS. THE DESIGN IS TIMELESS, IT NOT CHANGING OVER THE COURSE OF TIME IS A TESTAMENT TO THAT THAT SAYS IN THE UNSPOKEN WORDS OF FANS THAT GREW UP HAVE GROWN OLD AND THEIR KIDS THE SAME "WE WANT HIM THIS WAY LEAVE THE DESIGN ALONE"..OF COURSE WE DON'T WANT IT GOOFY, THERE ARE WAYS TO DO IT NOT GOOFY.
Ha1frican - 5/8/2012, 12:11 PM
No exposed ears even with a cloth cowl it looks AWFUL even in the comics. And i don't understand all the bitching about his suit it almost the EXACT same helmet just with cloth connecting it to the suit.
RadicalDuck - 5/8/2012, 12:12 PM
@rogers - if only...
SpiderFan35 - 5/8/2012, 12:13 PM
@PatientZero: lol, okay you win. We will have to wait and see what happens for Cap 2.
Rogers - 5/8/2012, 12:15 PM
@RadicalDuck, The Avengers is a great movie, even without him
SpiderFan35 - 5/8/2012, 12:42 PM
@PatientZero: ha ha, thanks. Once I pictured Agent Hill and Black Widow in the above mentioned exercise I lost my concentration to discuss any further :P
Ha1frican - 5/8/2012, 12:43 PM
@Patient Zero he has his breast plate but he summoned his Chain Mail right before the final battle
cerrone6 - 5/8/2012, 12:45 PM
The suit that Rodgers wears when he is Director of shiield would be interesting to see.
Shadow101 - 5/8/2012, 12:50 PM
Caps suit did fine in the movie. Quit complaining.
