RESULTS: Will THE DARK KNIGHT RISES Beat THE AVENGERS At The Box Office?

Well, here's hoping that these results will put an end to the unnecessary war between "Marvelites" and "Nolanites". While a fairly substantial majority of you decided that The Avengers would NOT be beaten at the box office by The Dark Knight Rises; the yes, no and maybe options were completely crushed by the fourth option that it simply doesn't matter. Why? Well, as it says below, it's because WE are the real winners here. While it seems that there will always be mediocre comic book adaptations (here's looking at you Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance), there's no getting around the fact that the films which do well financially and are actually GOOD deserve our money because it means we get more of them. Does any "Marvelite" really want Warner Bros. to stop making DC movies? Does any "Nolanite" really want Marvel to stop bringing their characters to the big screen? If your answer is yes to either of those questions, you may need to ask yourself whether or not you really are a true comic book lover...
