Batman And Superman To Team-Up On The Big Screen Before JUSTICE LEAGUE
Although not quite in the way you're probably expecting! Channing Tatum is in talks to play Superman and Will Arnett will play Batman in...Lego: The Piece of Resistance. Disappointing, eh? Read on for details.
Earlier this evening, Variety's Jeff Sneider Tweeted: "Fans of BATMAN & SUPERMAN will NOT have to wait until JUSTICE LEAGUE to see their favorite superheroes share the bigscreen..." As you can probably imagine, those using the social networking site were on the edge of their seats as a Batman/Superman movie finally appeared to be a very real possibility (remember that the site also broke the news that Warner Bros. are working on a Justice League movie). What actually followed was the crushing disappointment that he was instead referring to the fact Will Arnett will voice Batman and that Channing Tatum is in talks to voice Superman in upcoming animated flick, Lego: The Piece of Resistance. The film will be directed by Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs team Phil Lord and Christopher Miller, and will feature a blend of live-action and Lego-based animation.
