CAPTAIN AMERICA Star Neal McDonough In Talks To Join The Cast Of RED 2

Neal McDonough (Captain America: The First Avenger, Justified) is in talks to join the cast of Red 2 alongside Bruce Willis, Helen Mirren, Morgan Freeman and John Malkovich. Hit the jump for details.

Variety reports that Captain America: The First Avenger star Neal McDonough is in talks to join the cast of Red 2 in a currently undisclosed role. He will join the existing cast members above, as well as other new additions Anthony Hopkins, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Byung-hun Lee. The sequel is set to be directed by Dean Parisot, while the script was penned by original writers Jon and Erich Hoeber. The site adds that this instalment will see, "Willis and company are searching for a weapon of mass destruction but must first break out the man who created the weapon from an insane asylum."

Wasn't Neal to re-play his role as Dum Dum Dugan with Samuel Jackson in a "Nick Fury" spin-off? Isn't that still in the works??

I'm a big fan of this character actor. Anybody catch him as the villain in the last season of the FX show Justified? He played a fantastic deviant and holy shit does he get it in the season finale...
