With Marvel's The Avengers, The Amazing Spider-Man, The Dark Knight Rises, and, er, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance all released this year, it's hard to imagine that 2013 could possibly top 2012. However, it certainly looks set to give it a run for its money. Next year kicks off with Iron Man 3, and the third instalment of the franchise (this time directed by Shane Black) is set to feature fan favourite elements from the comics, such as the "Extremis" armour and 'The Mandarin'. Next up? Superman's eagerly anticipated return to the big screen in Zack Snyder's Man of Steel. After the disappointing Superman Returns in 2006, this looks set to be the film fans have always wanted. Another superhero who makes ha return after a disappointing outing, is The Wolverine, starring Hugh Jackman back as Logan. X-Men Origins: Wolverine was a terrible film, but the Japan set sequel (helmed by 3:10 To Yuma's James Mangold) will hopefully wash away the bad taste left by that prequel. We finish off the year with Alan Taylor's Thor: The Dark World. As of right now, we know very little about the sequel, although it is thought that it will involve Dark Elves and more locations that just Earth and Asgard. So, they're the big four of 2013, but which are you most looking forward to? Here's your chance to decide...

I might actually be looking forward to Thor the most, the chance of The Enchantris and the director of Game of Thrones, count me in!
deadpool123 - 8/1/2012, 4:05 PM

JDUKE25 - 8/1/2012, 4:06 PM
Thought we already had this poll.

But Man of Steel gets my vote.

1: MoS
2: Thor TDW
3: Iron Man 3
4: The Wolverine
SageMode - 8/1/2012, 4:07 PM
I would say Superman, but there's just one person involved with that project that I'm not too thrilled with........

So it's THOR: THE DARK WORLD for me.
MrBlueSky - 8/1/2012, 4:08 PM
Where is the button for All?
Rhys - 8/1/2012, 4:09 PM
This is tough...I'm interested in all of them. But if I had to rank...

1. Iron Man 3/Thor: The Dark World
2. Man of Steel
3. The Wolverine

I'm a Marvel all the way, and both IM3 and Thor sound incredibly promising. I can't wait to see phase 2! I was never big on Superman, but I'm excited for MOS. Cavill is perfect, and I'm curious to see the character taken in a new direction. And although Origins sucked, The Wolverine seems (at least so far) to have potential. We might get a proper Wolverine film this time!
SageMode - 8/1/2012, 4:09 PM
Lmao @THEIRISHAVENGER

Wow.....
SHHH - 8/1/2012, 4:10 PM
Man Of Steel..
Jordanstine - 8/1/2012, 4:11 PM
Based on my pic, guess who I'm voting for?

But in all honesty...

I'm so looking forward to Iron Man 3 because it's basically PHASE 2 of The Avengers Cinematic Universe.
PaulRom - 8/1/2012, 4:12 PM
1. Man Of Steel
2. Iron Man 3
3. Thor: The Dark World
4. The Wolverine

DrDoom - 8/1/2012, 4:15 PM

DON'T MAKE ME CHOOSE!
deadpool123 - 8/1/2012, 4:20 PM
@cherybomb,agree
CherryBomb - 8/1/2012, 4:20 PM
I hate to say this, but probably Wolverine.

I mean, I think it's gonna be very very different to Origins.
James Mangold directed 'Girl, Interupted' and 'Walk the Line'.
We have a good cast of some fresh faces and they all seem to know the direction of the story they want to go.

I think I'm looking forward to Wolverine if not only to see how it'll turn out.
I hope they do the whole Japanese thing Kill Bill-style.
CherryBomb - 8/1/2012, 4:21 PM
@deadpool123 wooo! atleast I'm not alone haha.
SteelFighter - 8/1/2012, 4:22 PM
1. Man of Steel
2. Iron Man 3
3. Thor: The Dark world
4. The Wolverine

I love both dc marvel heroes but superman is my favorite and nolan and snyder is an interesting combination.... action and a good history...

Iron man 3 because I wanna see how the extremis will look on screen and Thor and wolvie are good heroes too..
95 - 8/1/2012, 4:22 PM
@CherryBomb Yes. Kill Bill–style. That film could end up being the best of 2013.
ralfinader - 8/1/2012, 4:24 PM
This one might be accurate since there is not a Nolan movie involved! Hard choices too, I hoently can't decide. Man of Steel would be it if it wasn't a retelling of his origin, yet again. IM2 was not the best of movies. Wolvie 1 was a shitfest. Going to go with Thor, which I had no complaints about the first one.
SageMode - 8/1/2012, 4:24 PM
HavocPrime - 8/1/2012, 4:25 PM
Looking forward to all of them, but if I have to choose then it will be Man of Steel.
SageMode - 8/1/2012, 4:26 PM
RALFINDER

Remember, Nolan is producing MOS. lol
GoILL - 8/1/2012, 4:27 PM
This is the order of most anticipated to least for me:
Iron Man 3
MoS
Thor TDW
Wolverie
musim - 8/1/2012, 4:27 PM
This was a tough call. In the end I picked Superman because its in a way the most unknown quantity. High chances are Iron Man 3 is going to be good. Thor will more than likely at least be decent although this one is the most difficult to get excited about because I know so little of what they can do with the character. Wolverine I am excited about but less so since Aronofsky backed out. I'm excited for all of them, but Superman has me the most curious.
ralfinader - 8/1/2012, 4:28 PM
@sageMode - shit forgot about that....still just as a producer...oh never mind, Man of Steel will win.

Dang, just realized we are in for a slew of confirmed movies from now till 2016. Heck, the cbms released in the past 2 years dwarfs all those from the 90s. It's a great decade to be a comicbook fan.

Amen to that!
SteelFighter - 8/1/2012, 4:29 PM
@AcidicHeart wait until you see him bro... many people thought the joker won´t be good.. and almost all people love the character... Nolan and Goyer will give you a decent zod... the last zod we had was 30 years ago... some confidence in this great team snyder-nolan-goyer... They won´t disappoint us.... but I respect your point of view... Althought I don´t agree with you on that... cheers...
PantherX - 8/1/2012, 4:30 PM
Man of Steel.
UrbanKnight - 8/1/2012, 4:30 PM
@CherryBomb I think The Wolverine looks like it could be awesome. The only thing that has me worried is Fox studios. But yeah could be cool.
95 - 8/1/2012, 4:30 PM
After 2012, I rather not join the hype. Quite exhausting, actually. All of these film in the poll will surely be good. Iron Man 3 will be kick ass. Man Of Steel looks glorious. The Wolverine might our first great "X-Men film". Thor: The Dark World will get me to go to the cinemas in November (which I only do for 007 films).
2Challa - 8/1/2012, 4:34 PM
Man of steel-YAWN another origin story
Ironman 3-Very Interesting billionaire tech espionage movie
Wolverine-Please God anything to forget Origins, also put on the suit
Thor TDW-Thor visits Niffleheim, Hel, or Muspelheim!!!

Thor

You know what I find funny? When people seem to think that Mangold is a bad director. I doubt some of these people have seen most of his films, one person even thought he directed The Prestige while badmouthing Mangold. From Cop Land to 3:10 To Yuma this guy can direct.

Cop Land was not what I was expecting, and is now one of my favorite movies. High hopes for this upcoming Wolverine.
BigeBigzWells - 8/1/2012, 4:34 PM
1) Thor: The Dark World
2) Iron Man 3
3) Man of Steel
4) The Wolverine (Mainly due to lack of information)
LoudLon - 8/1/2012, 4:34 PM
Couldn't care less about another Wolverine movie.

Man of Steel looks interesting, but really, what can they do in a Supes movie that we haven't seen before?

Thor 2 - I wasn't a big fan of the first Thor, but I did really enjoy Chris Hemsworth as the character. That's enough to interest me in a sequel, I just hope we get a lot more of the 9 realms and a lot [frick]in' less of Kat Dennings.

Iron Man 3 - this is the one my money's on. I'm ridiculously hyped for this one, mostly because of writer/director Shane Black, one of my all-time favorite screenwriters. I'm hugely excited to see his take on the material.
Mime - 8/1/2012, 4:35 PM
I have to say Wolverine. I really want to see a good Wolverine movie. I can't wait to see what they come up with.
Zoidberg115 - 8/1/2012, 4:43 PM
1.Iron Man 3/Man of Steel 2.Thor 2 100000000000000000000. The Wolverine (as much as I love the character the movie is gonna have to do really well to get me interested)
crowlers - 8/1/2012, 4:44 PM
1)The Wolverine
2)Iron Man 3
3)Thor: TDW
4)Man of Steel
Deschain12 - 8/1/2012, 4:46 PM
Looking forward to all 4 but I suppose if I had to make a list it would go something like this:
1. Man of Steel
2. The Wolverine
3. Thor: TDW
4. Iron Man 3 (I hate that I had to put this last)
AlexDeLarge87 - 8/1/2012, 4:47 PM
Man of Steel cause im sucker for Superman. :)
Iron Man 3 and Thor 2 takes second place but if we are talking about which any 2013 coming movie im most looking forward.
The first place goes to Pacific Rim.
Ha1frican - 8/1/2012, 4:48 PM
Man of steel >> Iron Man 3 >Thor 2>>>>>>>>>>>>>Wolverine
InfiniteMonkey - 8/1/2012, 4:48 PM
Where is the button for "the one that don't suck?"
jimoakley666 - 8/1/2012, 4:49 PM
The Wolverine for me. Very excited to see what they bring to the screen with that one.
R888 - 8/1/2012, 4:50 PM
Man of steel gets my vote but iron man 3 too
hell all of them do :)
Ichaos - 8/1/2012, 4:51 PM
If I had to put them in order, Thor 2 because the name The Dark World sounds promising on its own. Iron Man 3 I am not sure just because third acts in a triology are not always the strongest. They need to do something with the story so its not routine. After that between Man of Steel and Wolverine. Though the first 3 moves were Wolverine movies really. Hard to tell if they are going to "reimangine" off into left field or not. I understand legally why they made the costume shortless but don't understand the very weak escuse they give of it looks more alien without shorts because apparently aliens dont have shorts. Also the trailers looks like a cross between a trailer of Gladiator (with the music and scenery) and deadliest catch.

They need to go back to comics in the comic book world. Which really is only a slight tweak of the real world so all this "realistic" approach is plain silly especially when dealing with bullet proof flying aliens.
