The narrative architect behind the Bourne film series, Tony Gilroy, takes the helm in the next chapter of the hugely popular espionage franchise that has earned almost $1 billion at the global box office: The Bourne Legacy. The writer/director expands the Bourne universe created by Robert Ludlum with an original story that introduces us to a new hero (Jeremy Renner) whose life-or-death stakes have been triggered by the events of the first three films. For The Bourne Legacy, Renner joins fellow series newcomers Rachel Weisz, Edward Norton, Stacy Keach and Oscar Isaac, while franchise veterans Albert Finney, Joan Allen, David Strathairn and Scott Glenn reprise their roles.

Did I hear him right? A real time chase scene that's 14 minutes long? Whoa!

This might actually take over my #1 spot for favorite chase scene (currently held by Matrix Reloaded).

When I first heard of this movie I thought, "Here we go again...", but I find myself actually looking forward to watching it. I swear Jeremy Renner just keeps getting more bad ass.

"I wanna be Jason Bourne" Legacy" - corny, tired, redundant, beat the dead horse until he's a grease spot kinda' film. We've see EVERYTHING they're doing in this film in the last three with Matt Damon. I'm not feeling it. I like Renner but not in this film.

You can tell when a film is D.O.A. when it gets groans in a full theater.
The trailer reminds me of catching a kid talking to an imaginary friend.
The filmmakers couldnt have Matt Damon and Jason Bourne, so they pretend they are making a Jason Bourne film.

Proud to be Pinoy! What Tony doesn't know is that he probably bribed somebody without knowing it to let himself to do whatever he wants. That's why he wasn't kicked out. HAHA!

But seriously, you Americans should come film in our country more often. We're happy to have you guys over. We love having guests. :)

I plan on seeing this.
Ranger14 - 8/4/2012, 7:29 AM
The trailer makes me think it will be another TASM. Something way too familiar and regurgitating the same story as the original film only with different characters. Guy finds out he is part of a secret government spy program, guy meets/rescues girl, gets chased by the government, rinse, wash, repeat.
