SCRUBS Star Donald Faison In Talks To Join The Cast Of KICK-ASS 2 As 'Dr. Gravity'

Donald Faison (best known for his role as 'Turk' in the brilliant Scrubs) is now in talks to join the cast of Jeff Wadlow's Kick-Ass 2 as 'Dr Gravity'. The sequel is based on the comic book series from Mark Millar and John Romita Jr.

Deadline reports that Donald Faison (Scrubs, Skyline) is in negotiations to join the cast of Kick-Ass 2 as Dr. Gravity, one of the members of "Justice Forever" who fights alongside Kick-Ass in the second volume of the critically acclaimed comic book series. The sequel (written and directed by Jeff Wadlow, and produced by Matthew Vaughn) begins shooting this September, and Faison joins returning cast members Aaron Johnson, Chloe Moretz, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Nicolas Cage as well as fellow new addition John Leguizamo. The sequel is currently expected to be released in 2013.

I can kind of see where they're going with this casting. If all the other support characters are cast in the same vein, this could be a lot of fun.
