Deadline reports that Donald Faison (Scrubs, Skyline) is in negotiations to join the cast of Kick-Ass 2 as Dr. Gravity, one of the members of "Justice Forever" who fights alongside Kick-Ass in the second volume of the critically acclaimed comic book series. The sequel (written and directed by Jeff Wadlow, and produced by Matthew Vaughn) begins shooting this September, and Faison joins returning cast members Aaron Johnson, Chloe Moretz, Christopher Mintz-Plasse and Nicolas Cage as well as fellow new addition John Leguizamo. The sequel is currently expected to be released in 2013.
