STAR WARS EPISODE II And III To Be Released In 3D Back To Back In 2013
After Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace made an additional $44 million earlier this year when it was re-released in 3D, LucasFilm have confirmed the release dates of both Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith in the format.
An unimpressive 3D conversion failed to make The Phantom Menace any more bearable, but it was successful enough to warrant the re-release of the other two prequels. It has been confirmed by the official Star Wars Facebook page that Attack of the Clones and Revenge of the Sith are now set to be re-released on the big screen in 3D back-to-back on September 20th, 2013 and October 11th, 2013 respectively. Now that the prequels are out of the way, here's hoping the original trilogy won't be too far behind. Even if you're not a fan of 3D, many Star Wars fans will have never had the chance to see the original (and far superior) trilogy on the big screen. The logo below was also released.
