The Dark Knight Rises was the far better movie between the two, IMO! But, the Chinese love their 3D so I won't argue.

That's great, but of course, it's not going to make 1 billion like Avengers and TDKR did, which is sad because I think that the only reason some of the general audience wasn't interested is because they're close-minded fools who don't understand shit.

Avengers: 1.5 billion worldwide, and going strong

The Amazing Spider-Man: Almost 734 million worldwide

Dark Knight Rises: 1 billion worldwide

Every Harry Potter movie: 2 billion

Phase 1 of Marvel made more than the entire Harry Potter series.

@AutobotCommander84 and I'm sure you're among the fools who Understand the shit they don't understand definitely spidey would win because he's a recognizable and well loved character same goes for Batman but sorry I can't walk on the streets and see a Batman poster and stare at it for a Minute but for spidey o can and he's stories have heart and dats what captures the audience not violent over-the top darkness

I preferred the amazing spider-man to all of Nolan's films IMO and I don't give a [frick] of anyone's opinion you may like both the ASM and TDKR but I just prefer ASM... AGAIN MY OPINION!!!!..

Should also be taken into consideration the censorship and such over in China. For instances the other parts of the Dark Knight trilogy were not released or were in small numbers - So actually surprised this one got a release and made anything considering fans may not know what is going on as haven't seen last 2.

What scares me more is people in China may not know BB and TDK exist so they think this is a sequel to Batman and Robin Bane's Revenge

I pity China. They are always last to see these great movies. At least they are enjoying it now. Now, friends from China, go see them both at least twice, okay?

@cipher

The fact that I don't like TDKR as much as the first Nolan's Batman films don't make me not respect those who do. If only all parties were as civil as you are about these films, we'd have a healthier CBM fandom. Thanks, mate!

@Maxi91291

Gwen, Emma can play both Gwen and MJ for all I care, Andrew Garfield is living the [frick]ing ultimate geek/nerd dream. But Anne Hathaway's Selina Kyle and Scarlet Johansson's Black Widow are all [frick]ing awesome.
