THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN: Sneak Peek At "A Hero Will Rise" Blu-Ray Featurette

Available only at Target, the Blu-ray and Blu-ray 3D release of The Amazing Spider-Man will come with an extra disc which contains "A Hero Will Rise" featurette. Hit the jump for a two and a half minute sneak peek featuring new behind-the-scenes footage and interviews.

This Target Exclusive 4-disc Combo Pack includes the bonus disc: A Hero Will Rise. Get an exclusive look at the creation of how the beloved super hero was introduced to a whole new generation of fans. Learn how this new incarnation of Peter Parker/Spider-Man, played by Andrew Garfield, is the most Amazing Spider-Man yet!

The Amazing Spider-Man is the story of Peter Parker (Garfield), an outcast high schooler who was abandoned by his parents as a boy, leaving him to be raised by his Uncle Ben (Sheen) and Aunt May (Field). Like most teenagers, Peter is trying to figure out who he is and how he got to be the person he is today. Peter is also finding his way with his first high school crush, Gwen Stacy (Stone), and together, they struggle with love, commitment, and secrets. As Peter discovers a mysterious briefcase that belonged to his father, he begins a quest to understand his parents' disappearance - leading him directly to Oscorp and the lab of Dr Curt Connors (Ifans), his father's former partner. As Spider-Man is set on a collision course with Connors' alter-ego, The Lizard, Peter will make life-altering choices to use his powers and shape his destiny to become a hero.

Oh these video games companies are hilarious. I preordered RE6, knowing full well that a "special" collectors edition will be released in 6 months. Whats even funny is that these companies will tell you that DLC available when the game is released...weeks before the game is actually released..smdh. Couldn't those already come with the game?lol

This movie was good but nowhere near best superhero movie ever. The only thing it did better than any other CBM is the romance.

I'd be interested to hear your veiws on why it is the best though.

Like I said on my 1st post regarding all the trolls and Raimi fanboys....... This movie was better than Spider-man 1. Plus this movie has completely set it self up for the squeal and I applaud you for that Sony.

It's also better than Batman begins just saying :)

@breakUbatman This Movie was the best at showing us the TRUE origin of a superhero ( in which case it's Spider-man) The romance and emotions(of peter parker) is what made this movie come alive. Great action scenes, and had the humor Peter Parker had in the comics. Plus the effects in this movie are awesome!

Can't wait for TASM 2 .. I really really can't wait lol... They start shooting which I think is in March of 2013.. Which should give us some ideas.
